Causes: Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Children & Youth
Mission: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clinton and Ionia Counties is committed to the healthy development of children by giving them positive life experiences as they grow toward adulthood. This is accomplished by recruiting, training, and matching screened volunteers with children between the ages of six and 17 who are generally being raised by one parent. The agency maintains regular contact with the volunteer, parent, and child once a match is made. Case planning and monitoring of match goals help make BBBS an outcome-based agency.
