Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Amateur Sports, Environment, Health, Recycling, Sports
Mission: Connecting bikes with people who need wheels.
Target demographics: to help children, veterans and low-income families who may otherwise not be able to afford a bicycle.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Last year, we directly helped hundreds of children, families, veterans and over 68 community organizations.
Geographic areas served: We work in our small shop in Bend Oregon
Programs: Bicycle donations, safety clinics, recycling and community bicycle maintenance education. We repair bikes and donate to those in need and provide community education through classes and private instruction by qualified volunteers. Between 2010 and 2017 we have donated and/or repaired 1000's of bicycles in surrounding Central Oregon communities and have recycled unsafe or non-repairable bicycles, which keep them out of our landfills.
