I have worked alongside the Co-Founder, Trevor Knauf, in other solar related activities. Beyond Solar has had a tremendous impact on the people and communities of Koraput, India. The deployment model that they used was truly unique and the results have been hugely successful! I have overheard Trevor talk about what they "could" do with the proper funding. Hopefully this is an opportunity to gain the recognition they deserve.

Results: In 2008, Beyond Solar, partnered with D.Light to replace kerosene lanterns with their Nova Solar Lantern for more than 160 tribal families in the Koraput District of Orissa, India.
