Programs: Youth court is a voluntary sentencing alternative for youthful first time offenders. Youth who have admitted guilt to a crime or offense appear before a jury of their peers, 8th-12th grade students, who review the evidence, deliberate and pass sentence. When the sentence is completed the youths record is expunged and the offender must sit as a juror on at least one case.
