I have volunteered over the years with Bethel Bible Village. I fell in love with their work. So much, I took a pay cut and as of mid April, I am an employee.
They do great work with trauma informed children from middle school through high school. The school component, Bethel Christian Academy has a great teacher/student ratio. They are able to tailor to the needs of the students. $.87 of every dollar goes to helping the children. I am glad to be a part of it!

Mission: To provide safe, nurturing, christ-centered homes for children of families in crisis, and equip and inspire them to live productive christian lives.
Programs: Our programslife steps: children live in a family-style home where houseparents provide love, care, guidance, supervision, and accountability, along with counseling, educational opportunities, and wrap-around social services for each child. Promise, first step: offering help and support for pregnant teens and teen moms. Back on track: we help guide older teen boys with challenges to make positive choices. Next step: transitional homes for families with children experiencing temporary housing crisis.
