I have worked as a social worker for many years working with women who have experienced domestic violence. Bethany House has been a haven for these women and their children. They provide safe, caring shelter and access to resources so these women can get a fresh start. The agency allows women to have an apartment of their own and allows for a length of stay that is long enough to accomplish their goals. With a garden and safe play area outdoors and a good school district for the kids, moms don't have to worry about their kids having a good adjustment. I would highly recommend Bethany House if the need arises in a woman's life.

This is one of the few organizations I have worked with that is truly mission driven. The leadership and administration are commited to serving domestic violence victims and their children with compassion while staying current with best practices in the field. They make a conscious effort to be good stewards of the diminishing resources available. The staff goes above and beyond to support the clients.
