I stayed there and the staff was mean, I also contracted athletes foot from their shower. I had to sleep in a chair because there were not enough cots. Also, their bathroom's were disgusting usually without toilet paper. I need to emphasize how mean and nasty the staff was towards me.

It's a business the shelter makes money when people live there, I lived there for a while some of the staff are cruel they make fun of residents cockroach infested the facility is disgusting I was assaulted by another resident who was a drug dealer when I had him arrested he had two outstanding warrants that's harboring a fugitive, the money that is donated some of it is stolen it doesn't go to the residents, an investigation would do no good because it's all corrupt.

I lived there for a while, the facility is disgusting roach infested some of the staff are so cruel and vile and believe they can treat the residents like dirt! The no freeze was a joke people slept on the floor or in chairs.they did not even get cots, corruption is on a mass scale,do some research for your self, maybe you can also find the truth.dont believe the hype.

The Beth El Center does amazing work with people experiencing homelessness and/or food insecurity. With over 900 volunteers and a mighty staff, the center has made tremendous strides toward ending homelessness in the greater Milford, CT area.
