The best non profit in the state. The work they do in honor of Collins who perseveres and inspired 1000’s through his battle with cancer is inspiring. Collins is no longer here but his work continues and if you want to help a great cause volunteer or donate today. This is the one.
Our son was invited to be the Grand Marshall for the 2017 Bend Your Knees 5K. Our family joined him as participants in this amazing event. We have felt the heavy hand of childhood cancer in our own family. What the Bend Your Knees organization does for children fighting cancer and families going through this very difficult journey is simple incredible. I cannot imagine having to face this difficult journey without the support of organizations such as Bend Your Knees.
This is a true picture of how a family doesn't give up and stop living after such a sad tragedy, but how they choose to honor and remember their precious son to encourage, help, and bring HOPE for others. They share Gods love and strength through their actions and words. They are an inspiration to so many who are going through difficult times.
I'm so thankful for the 1000's of lives Bend Your Knees has touched in the last several years. Compassionate and Generous are two words that come to mind!
Collins is my brother and he is missed very much...he was so full of life and touched so many and through his foundation he still touches people on a daily basis even after he has entered into the kingdome of god. This foundation is great and has done many great things for cancer reaserch. All i can hope for is that this foundation may contribute to saving many lives and forever be a staple in exactly what collins would have stood for if he was still alive today. Bend your knees and help this foundation and collins reach even higher to touch more and more lives. My parents robin and bob dixon put so much into this foundation for they are true believers in this organization that it may just even help one child beat this terrible disease and that alone would be success.
BYK is an extraordinary charity that has raised thousands of dollars and much needed awareness for the cancer community. The Dixon family has over come some of the hardest obstacles in the past few years but still finds hope and strength in there beloved son Collins, to find a cure for childhood cancer. The time and effort built around this non profit organization is something we all admire. Every like, share, comment & participant is another Warrior fighting for the cause!

A wonderful family run charity to help others facing the same thing that Collins and his family faced head on with grace and strength.
Charity: generous actions or donations to aid the poor, ill, or helpless. The Bend Your Knees Inc charity exemplifies the definition of charity. As a volunteer, I see the hours and hours this organization spends on not only sharing the story of a young man who touched so many lives in a short time but also educating people about brain tumors and providing assistance to families who have been directly impacted by this disease. It is a charity that truly reaches out and
I can't think of a better way to show the world how even the worst of things we can imagine can be turned into a powerful tribute and praise, and how the faith and courage of a young man and his family can do so much good for others in so many ways. The Dixon family is a true inspiration and example for all of us but mostly for the children and families that suffer from cancerous brain tumors. This charity has done so much for them and the community. It impresses me how they have and continue to bring the community closer together. Collins truly lives through them and their continuation of his good works. It is a charity that I am proud to be able to be a part of and hope that others will use their example of turning something so sad into something so blessed.
This is an amazing foundation that was started for a very amazing young man that was taken from his family way too soon. Bob and Robin are very caring, concerned parents who are trying to help other families not have to face what they had to go through by raising funds to help other families. I have been fortunate enough to be able to volunteer at their charity run which is very well organized and everyone who has participated in any way always has a wonderful time. My youngest daughter was fortunate enough to be a recipient of the Collins Dixon Award at Teasley Middle School which meant the world to her. We are very honored to know and be able to volunteer to help.
Bend your knees is an amazing charity. I have worked with them for years and they do so many great things in the community. Collins was an amazing young man and left this world way too early. Bob and Robin have done everything possible to keep Collins dream alive and help other families that are going through this terrible time. The bend your knees 10 K is an amazing fundraiser that brings the community together for a great cause. If you were looking for a charity that makes a difference in the lives of others this is the one that will do it.
This is an AWESOME charity.
I knew Collins as well as my children went to school with him.
I go to church with and they are pillars in the community.
As a family member of this sweet child that was taken from us too soon, I know the intentions of this organization are pure. They have no other agenda than bringing this terrible childhood disease to the forefront and to make people more aware. Dixon family keep up the good work for the Bend Your Knees Foundation, what you are doing is a great thing!
Bend Your Knees, Inc. (BYK) is a Foundation that was formed as a way to help increase the awareness of childhood brain cancer and to support families that are facing the battle and journey of a child with brain cancer. As a Father, I watched the parents of Collins Dixon deal with all the adversity of having a sick child and how Collins dealt with this terrible disease. I was humbled by the life of Collins and through this foundation and my ability to donate my time, I have found a way to keep the memory of Collins alive and help give back to others on a similar journey. This Foundation is one worth supporting! For more on the life of Collins go to: www.BendYourKnees4Collins.net
I watched this organization take root in the faith of a young boy and galvanize a community's spirit. Since then, this family has continued their sons mission throughout their tireless efforts of fundraising to help other families who are going through similar situations as they did. Always with a smile and a hug, it lifts my heart every time our oaths cross. I am proud to participate in their charity 5k each year.
As a teacher at their son's school and their neighbor, this family and their organization has touched my heart in ways I cannot explain. As a prayer for their amazing son, "Bend Your Knees for Collins" t-shirts were seen everywhere on friends, family, students and teachers all over the community. Using that for the name of their organization, Bend Your Knees is just exactly what they would do for any other family going through what they went through with their son. This organization goes above and beyond to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. Simply amazing.
This family took what was a very difficult time for them and used it to help others. They host an amazing 5k each year that has become one of the best road races in Georgia. Love Bend your knees, inc!!!!
I am amazed every time Bend your Knees, Inc is present and involved in our community. Their heart is for the Lord, to honor Collins Dixon and the help those in need. It is truly the organization that will be there to help other families with children with cancer. Their actions give hope and strength to those in need. Out of their loss, they chose to give back.
