Causes: Child Day Care, Children & Youth

Mission: BCCA, founded in 1998, grew out of the need for families who are employed at Belmont Park, Aquaduct Race Track, and Saratoga Race Course to have safe, reliable early childhood education.The unique nature of backstretch work prevents workers from using existing child care services. Employees arrive before sunrise, hours before established centers open, and often include seven-day work weeks not serviced by traditional child care programs. In addition, most racetrack employees simply cannot afford the cost of safe, reliable early childhood education. BCCA's mission is to provide the families with early childhood education, encouragement and the support they need to build bright futures for their children.

Their vision and mission to educate and serve the children of the Belmont racetrack community is carried out, every day, with thorough professionalism mixed with joy and love for the children. This is a fabulous organization that does phenomenal work.

Anna House does such great work. Their education programs are terrific and really make a difference. And the people are so nice and friendly. Definitively a good group to work with.
