We recently adopted a Shepard from Bella Vita Rescue.
Not only did she come spayed, vetted and perfectly groomed, she was trained by their wonderful trainer.
It feels good to be a part of a strong team, and because of this, we have a wonderful new and confident family member.
We love you Riley.
Thank you Jill and her incredible team!
We just recently adopted our puppy from Bella Vita Rescue. No other rescue got back to us for months and most were quite rude.
She was the only one who spent a lot of time with us before and when we got our puppy.
Our puppy is healthy and happy and is already potty trained. We would tell our friends to adopt from them.
Thank you to our now favorite rescue.
I am on my 7th foster dog from Bella Vita Rescue. I have adopted 2 of my own from Bella Vita.
Jill spends hours shopping with each individual adopter so that they have the proper starter kits for each dog. All adopter's get a care package and a folder with the dog's records.
I've never known anyone in my life that loves and adores animals like Jill.
She's a true inspiration, and a lovely person as well!
We have been a larger breed foster for Bella Vita for a few years now and love this team. We have never seen any group work as hard as they do.
Please support their efforts, they are amazing!
Ron and Stiles
We just adopted a wonderful dog that was going to be killed at Devore.
Our dog was already trained by this rescue, neutered and had all of his shots. We couldn't ask for a better family member if we tried. Thank you Bella Vita Rescue for everything.
Tried to upload pictures but it keeps saying error.
We have been a foster for Bella Vita Rescue for 2 years, adopted 1 dog from them and help at events. We love the work they do and our extended family supports them.
My only wish is that more people foster for them so they can save more lives. They supply everything and then some. I would give them 10 stars.
My family and I adopted a 6 month old puppy named Joey. He already came to us potty trained and even knew how to walk on a leash! I'd recommend this rescue to all of my friends and anyone wanting a great dog from this rescue
My family just adopted a sweet pitbull from this rescue in 2019. He had been trained perfectly through this rescue. We came back for a friend for him and once again we adopted a wonderful dog. Both are in perfect health and we continue to stay in touch with updates to Bella Vita's group. What a great team!
Thank you for our completed family.
I've worked with Bella Vita Rescue throughout the years and they truly care about the dogs and their mission to get them into a family that gives them love and attention. I would heavily recommend adopting from them.
Bella Vita Rescue helped us save 9 horses in Sanoma County during the fires, she even put a mini horse in her van or the mini would have been burned alive.
We recently adopted 2 beautiful pittie siblings from them. They are trained, vetted and absolutely wonderful dogs.
This rescue does a lot of work for rescue in the SoCal area! Please support this wonderful organization
We recently adopted a dog from Bella Vita rescue. He was in a hoarding situation with 3 brothers and 2 sisters. We met our boy and a brother and sister. Jill had worked with the 3 for a couple of months and we are amazed at how sweet, smart and trained they are. Our boy Scout is completely house trained and only 4 months old. This rescue also spent a lot of time with us shopping and helping pick out items as well. I highly recommend them, and they are extremely professional and picky about who adopts. Laney
Sadly, I have to give this rescue only ONE star. First, let me preface by saying if you added up all of BVR's IG posts of adopted dogs, her annual income would be at a minimum of $75,000 of which she has not reported to the state of California, or the IRS. And, that's not including adding the revenue she's collecting for dogs that were adopted, but she didn't address in a post. Bottom line is she doesn't report income. That's her thing! Nor is it showing she has a "current" status with the Attorney Generals office in regards to her non-profit. Which translates to currently she is not allowed to operate a business or collect funds, BUT SHE DOES... The reviews from not only fosters, adopters, donors, advocates, but fellow rescues are SCATHING! She is a master manipulator who has and continues to live off other peoples money by pulling on their heart strings. Her crimes vary from falsifying veterinarian records; that I personally witnessed at Somi Vet Clinic, to not providing the proper paperwork to a foster or adoptee, to never providing a receipt to each and every donation she collects.. She lies, manipulates and harasses anyone who calls her our on her criminal activity once they realize who and what she is. She is a professional con artist that thought social media would allow her to massively increase her revenue stream, but the reality is... it's going to be her demise! Multiple rescue organizations that have done events with her witnessed first hand her constant reckless behavior. She does not provide proper medical care for dogs post surgery. She does not provide the fosters with pain medication post surgery. And, when a foster dog goes missing and the foster reaches out to Jill for aid, she claims she's a small rescue and can't help. Not even offering to post something on her social media accounts re: the lost dog. No registration. No chipping. No nothing. This women is a back yard breeder that operates an illegal and illicit operation. She was caught and told by many departments she no longer was allowed to continue breeding and selling, but that's all she knew. So she continued under the guise of being a non-profit animal rescue when she doesn't have the legitimate paperwork to do so, doesn't have a required board of directors, doesn't provide a receipt post each donation, yet takes advantage of the tax exemption extended to non-profits by not filing a tax return claiming any of the revenue she's collected for decades. She is a professional criminal who we are committed to getting arrested, charged, convicted and sentenced in turn forcing her to take accountability for the decades of her criminal acts and behavior.
We have not adopted a dog from Bella Vita Rescue, but we have volunteered with them since 2018. The owner and our team go to Bay Area fires together. (J) swoops right past the fire lines and grabs the horses (sometimes goats or cattle) with no fear at all, and I mean, we are always down to the wire to get horses loaded under intense fear, but they follow this lady right into their trailers. What a warrior, what a great rescue. Oh and dogs love her too. Bella vita rescue is our choice of best rescue of the greater Bay Area.
We have fostered for Bella Vita Rescue now for the last 2 years. We met the owner Jill at a LinkedIn conference. She was well spoken and eloquent. She spoke to our CEO about why employees should be able to bring their dogs to work. We have many satellite offices, and since Jill has visited and was able to convince our bosses to let us bring our dogs to work, moral has shifted from dumpy to delightful. I've never met anyone more passionate about the welfare of dogs, whom spends her own time on Fridays to speak to companies about our beloved companions. I would give her 10 stars í ¼í¼Ÿ
This rescue works with our fire department when we need horses caught and trailered. Fearless and passionate.
Perfect experience, very helpful and even spent time to shop for our new family member. This rescue is strict and loving about their dogs.
Thank you for the love of my life!
We just adopted our second senior dog from Bella Vita. He had been badly abused by his past owner (very sad before pictures). This rescue took him in, fostered him and made him 100% healthier.
We love our Gomez and Matilda. Thank you Bella Vita.
I adopted a dog from this wonderful rescue. They were nothing but kind to me and my family, and they even helped us shop for new puppy items! We got all of the puppy’s paperwork in a custom tote bag. Please adopt from this wonderful rescue!
We not only have fostered for 3 years for Bella Vita Rescue, we have adopted our 2 bonded seniors from them.
We love their passion as a mother daughter team and highly recommend their expertise as a compassionate rescue.
Sienna, Avery and Lilo and Stitch
We have been a foster for Bella Vita Rescue for over a year. We have fostered 15 senior dogs, helped rehab them and help BVR find their forever homes.
This rescue has more love and heart for dogs and horses than anyone I have ever met in my life.
There has never been a time that this incredible team hasn't been available for these sweet seniors, day or night. We will continue to support Bella Vita and their senior dogs, love them so much.
We just recently adopted our second senior from Bella Vita Rescue. This was a dog they saved from a Los Angeles shelter that had multiple ailments, including blindness. He is a dream dog, exactly what we have been looking for to complete our family. The rescue owner spent a lot of time with us going over diet and and his daily routine. We have worked with other rescues in the past but this rescue really loves and cares about their dogs. We highly recommend them.
We adopted our Shepard Milo from Bella Vita Rescue last year. We are looking for a second Shepard through Bella Vita who has been in touch with us weekly even though shelters are closed.
We have had nonstop support from dietary help to training support. They are excellent mutt matchmakers. We highly recommend this wonderful rescue group.
We just adopted a wonderful senior from Bella Vita Rescue. Our little girl was with Bella Vita for a year. She needed rehab for 2 broken legs and broken teeth from her past owners. We recieved a copy of her medical bills and records. This rescue spent over 7k on her, yet gave us some beautiful pictures and gifts. Thank you for our new baby, we love her and this rescue.
Wonderful group! We adopted a Shepard and a Husky 2 different years from this wonderful rescue. The owner of the rescue rides with us for Search and Rescue and is one of the most animal passionate woman I have ever met. She has also come to the rescue of many hoarding cases. Top notch. I also want to add that we went to 3 different rescues that didn't take any time with us to find our dogs, Jill did and we are still in touch weekly. Highly recommend
I adopted my sweet little Chappie from this wonderful rescue and when the time comes, I’ll adopt another from them!
We adopted a beautiful Boarder Collie from Bella Vita Rescue last month.
Jill and Denise were amazingly helpful, shopped with us, brought us some great toys to our home after the home check and continued to follow up. Bella Vita feels like part of our family. We will continue to send potential adopters to them. We love our dog Raven xo
We got Max, our TERRIER from this wonderful rescue, and they even helped us find a trainer so he can become a service dog.
Most helpful group we have ever worked with when other rescues didnt.
Adopt a dog from them.
This is the best rescue we have ever worked with! I am the corporate manager for GOOGLE and we love hosting Bella Vita Rescue. Their dogs are healthy and they smell great:) Go adopt from them
THANK YOU Bella Vita Rescue for our wonderful Sadie!
Sadie has become the wonderful therapy dog you promised. Our little girl (human) is deaf and Jill found us the absolutely perfect fit for her and our family. We would recommend this rescue whole heartedly and might just get a second dog from them.
We love you Bella Vita Rescue!
Jill, the owner of Bella Vita Rescue helped us find the love of our lives. We had lost our dog after 15 years and we had spoken to a few other rescues whom never got back to us. Jill helped in our search and never gave up finding us the perfect dog. I highly recommend this wonderful rescue that helps so many dogs find forever homes. We love you Bella Vita Rescue!
We adopted 2 dogs from this rescue and we adore them. They backed their training and even taught us about diet, we highly recommend Bella Vita Rescue Team.
