Hi all;
I am on my 5th dog I am fostering for Bella Vita Rescue. I've personally never had any issues whatsoever in the last few years. I have been supported by the owner and given more supplies than I need. I wish more people would foster in general bc it is so wonderful for the dogs and very rewarding

I'm a follower on Instagram and have watched this rescue for 5 years. This beautiful soul goes into the trenches some of the worst shelters in California and visits, videotapes, brings dogs toys, bkankets and treats. I know she leaves there crying because I have seen it. I don't know how you do it Jill, but I commend your beautiful self. Sending hugs hugs your way from England. You are a true Saint.

Please support this wonderful rescue! We just adopted our beautiful Pyrenees that the rescue owner pulled from.a very high kill shelter.
She came to us beautifully groomed, healthy and such a happy girl.

I am an employee at a very very high kill shelter in Bakersfield, California of 7 years.
Bella Vita Rescue is our top rated rescue. She drives from the Bay Area, 3-4 days a week to help our dogs, pull the ones no other rescues will take, spends some of her own money and endless hours at Veterinary hospitals and vets.
She sends us constant updates on our shelter dogs which makes us incredibly happy.
Jill comes IN the shelter and videos for other rescues, takes constant pictures for her social media, transports dogs, plays with dogs in the play yard, buys toys, ice for the dogs and our baby/puppy pools.
I/we as a team love Jill, her passion and raw emotions for these voiceless souls.

This is the best rescue I have ever adopted from. The owner taught me how to home make food and helped me find a wonderful trainer. We are in touch almost weekly working on fundraisers and dog pack walks.

I met Jill at Kern County shelter quite a few times. I cannot say who I am here, but I will say this;
Jill fights for the dogs, all of them. She drives back and fourth across the state only to be met with disrespectful, hateful and toxic staff members (Supervisors included). I know because I work there. Jill goes into the back I building where the ACOs dump the broken dogs, the ones in horrible condition, the ones left to languish in pain, she helps those dogs. She talks to them. She pulls out the ones in the worst condition and spends a fortune in medical.

I love this woman. She is the real deal and the most compassionate woman I have ever met.
Kern County Shelter, I will be quitting soon. You are hell on Earth for the helpless animals KCAS.

I don't know how this rescue can do what she does. I know her donations are low, but yet we see her at least 3 times a week at our Veterinarian office. She is so compassionate about her rescue dogs. She fosters many of them and they are fed home made foods. I adopted a senior from Bella Vita and he is such a perfect little guy.

We are honored to adopt our second German Shepard from this wonderful rescue.

She came with all of her shots, spayed and completely trained. We were also taught how to make homemade food for both of out GSDs.

Jill, the owner of Bella Vita Rescue saved our dog from a hoarding situation. She had her vetted and trained. She is the best dog we have ever adopted ❤ My husband and I are TV producers, and our Miley has been on two commercials. She is so confident and happy.
Miley was a fear biter and very sick and thin when Jill saved her, but Jill chose her because of that. Needless to say, Jill has such a loving way with dogs.

"Great Nonprofit" is an understatement. Bella Vita goes beyond the call of duty to help dogs. She has pulled and saved more dogs from Kern county and Devore than any other rescue in California. She transports the dogs across the US for other rescues and adopters. She works around the clock to save horses from fires and urgent dogs from high kill shelters, dogs no one else wants, including rescues and all breeds. She deserves a medal working with the nastiest people on Earth at Kern. They are horrible to her. Please support this rescue. They need donations and a transport vehicle.

Last month I applied for a puppy from Bella Vita Rescue, and after a home visit from them we have our new baby. He came crate trained, healthy and very happy and playful. I have referred them to our friends and they may be getting a sibling. The rescue owners are hard working and continues to stay in touch and help us with home made food recipes. Perfect 50 stars in my book.

I started fostering and working with Jill at Bella Vita Rescue in February , 2021. I’m currently on my 12th Foster. All 12 have been coordinated through Bella Vita. Jill has developed an amazing team of pullers, transporters and the rest of the village it takes to make rescuing and finding the best possible homes for animals. They’re 100% dedicated to rescue and the best interest of the animal. I hadn’t fostered before and I received excellent support from Jill and her team…even on a 24/7 basis! Each dog and situation can be so drastically different, but the process is always handled efficiently, professionally and it’s always a pleasure. I look forward to working with Jill and fostering many more dogs through Bella Vita rescue.

We recently adopted a wonderful dog that the rescue found in an alley in Central Valley with his siblings. He had apparently lived in a burnt out home eating whatever he could to survive. We have before and after pictures and the difference is a miracle.
He is everything and more, and my family loves him so much.

I find it amusing that none of the reviews posted about this “rescue” are legitimate save one. With that in mind, “firefighters193” is as phony as a 3-dollar bill. A battalion “cheif “ would NOT misspell “chief” and would also give the company location and more. I’ve heard that this woman, Jill Marsh, is a scammer and this pretty much makes it seem that way. Anyone reading these phony reviews, please do more research before dealing with this place. It’s such a sad statement that people like the Marsh women exploit these animals to line their own pockets and leave a path of sick animals and devastated owners in their wake. RESEARCH!!

It has been my privilege to support Bella Vita Rescue. I have been engaged with dog and cat rescue for more than 5 years. During that time I have seen so many animals saved from horrible “shelters”, the desert, hoarding situations and abandoned houses. Bella Vita Rescue never gives up. Many animals they rescue need intensive medical care, training and caring experienced fosters to survive. No animal is ever given up on. I have seen the owner go without sleep, working to make sure a specific animal’s needs are met properly. The fosters are top notch animal caregivers who know how to help animals heal from physical and mental abuse. I don’t know where the strength and will comes from to continue time and time again to save these beautiful fur babies. The shelter system is so broken but still the fight continues to save lives! In the time I have spent in rescue, I have seen a lot of rescues come and go. It’s literally too much for some to handle but not for Bella Vita Rescue! I respect and admire the tenacity with which challenges are met daily! I am forever grateful that I have found such a dedicated human being that I trust and believe in to make a real difference in the lives of so many dogs, horses and even chickens and turtles! Beating hearts are safe here and it is a wonder to witness.

We have been fostering for Bella Vita off and on for 2 years. They have been nothing but supportive, generous and like family, even more than some of our friends.
2 weeks ago, we foster failed and adopted a senior Shepard they pulled the day he was going to be killed. The rescue owner drove 5 hours to save him, vet him and deliver him to us. I love love this rescue. A million reasons in 2 years. No one love dogs more than they do, and Im still going to foster

We recently adopted a well trained GSD feom Bella Vita. It was a lengthy process, but worth it!

We just recently adopted our puppy from Bella Vita Rescue. No other rescue got back to us for months and most were quite rude.
She was the only one who spent a lot of time with us before and when we got our puppy.

Our puppy is healthy and happy and is already potty trained. We would tell our friends to adopt from them.

I am on my 7th foster dog from Bella Vita Rescue. I have adopted 2 of my own from Bella Vita.

Jill spends hours shopping with each individual adopter so that they have the proper starter kits for each dog. All adopter's get a care package and a folder with the dog's records.
I've never known anyone in my life that loves and adores animals like Jill.
She's a true inspiration, and a lovely person as well!

We just adopted a wonderful dog that was going to be killed at Devore.

Our dog was already trained by this rescue, neutered and had all of his shots. We couldn't ask for a better family member if we tried. Thank you Bella Vita Rescue for everything.

My family just adopted a sweet pitbull from this rescue in 2019. He had been trained perfectly through this rescue. We came back for a friend for him and once again we adopted a wonderful dog. Both are in perfect health and we continue to stay in touch with updates to Bella Vita's group. What a great team!

I've worked with Bella Vita Rescue throughout the years and they truly care about the dogs and their mission to get them into a family that gives them love and attention. I would heavily recommend adopting from them.

Bella Vita Rescue helped us save 9 horses in Sanoma County during the fires, she even put a mini horse in her van or the mini would have been burned alive.
We recently adopted 2 beautiful pittie siblings from them. They are trained, vetted and absolutely wonderful dogs.

We recently adopted a dog from Bella Vita rescue. He was in a hoarding situation with 3 brothers and 2 sisters. We met our boy and a brother and sister. Jill had worked with the 3 for a couple of months and we are amazed at how sweet, smart and trained they are. Our boy Scout is completely house trained and only 4 months old. This rescue also spent a lot of time with us shopping and helping pick out items as well. I highly recommend them, and they are extremely professional and picky about who adopts. Laney

We have not adopted a dog from Bella Vita Rescue, but we have volunteered with them since 2018. The owner and our team go to Bay Area fires together. (J) swoops right past the fire lines and grabs the horses (sometimes goats or cattle) with no fear at all, and I mean, we are always down to the wire to get horses loaded under intense fear, but they follow this lady right into their trailers. What a warrior, what a great rescue. Oh and dogs love her too. Bella vita rescue is our choice of best rescue of the greater Bay Area.

We have fostered for Bella Vita Rescue now for the last 2 years. We met the owner Jill at a LinkedIn conference. She was well spoken and eloquent. She spoke to our CEO about why employees should be able to bring their dogs to work. We have many satellite offices, and since Jill has visited and was able to convince our bosses to let us bring our dogs to work, moral has shifted from dumpy to delightful. I've never met anyone more passionate about the welfare of dogs, whom spends her own time on Fridays to speak to companies about our beloved companions. I would give her 10 stars ������

We just recently adopted our second senior from Bella Vita Rescue. This was a dog they saved from a Los Angeles shelter that had multiple ailments, including blindness. He is a dream dog, exactly what we have been looking for to complete our family. The rescue owner spent a lot of time with us going over diet and and his daily routine. We have worked with other rescues in the past but this rescue really loves and cares about their dogs. We highly recommend them.

We just adopted a wonderful senior from Bella Vita Rescue. Our little girl was with Bella Vita for a year. She needed rehab for 2 broken legs and broken teeth from her past owners.
