Causes: Philanthropy
Mission: Provide access to enriching opportunity, connection to community and hope for the future through a specific dream granted. Dreams are personalized to make a positive, lasting impact on each child and their family.
Programs: Believe in dreams is a young organization that has been building a foundation while also growing dramatically. We continue to increase our dream fulfillment capacity and have grown our program by an average of 54% each year. We have fulfilled over 100 dreams of northeast ohio children since we started. We provide access to opportunities for an underserved population of children who are often left in the shadows and forgotten by our community. As we streamline our processes, more resources and revenue are going towards dream programming every year. We are a lean, local organization, adding a second employee in 2017 to build the program and increase revenue in 2018. See schedule o. We planfully utilize the time and expertise of several volunteers and college student interns. Our goal is to make an impact in northeast ohio by linking vulnerable youth to local opportunities that will bring them joy, education and positive life experiences, while encouraging every child to dream big!
dream big choose greatness seminar: believe in dreams founder and motivational speaker, john r. Dijulius iii, provides a free seminar to schools and youth serving programs of adolescents. John shares simple yet effective habits of overachievers, giving youth the foundation, and motivation, of how to dream big and accomplish those dreams. Through this seminar, we reached 470 youth in 2017.
