I happened upon Bee Cave Arts Foundation quite by accident just over a year ago. They were so warm and welcoming that I left an hour later having joined as a member! Since then, I have entered my art in a few of their exhibits and have become more involved as a volunteer. They create so many opportunities for new and established artists and their dedication to working with the local schools' art teachers bring so much joy to the parents and children alike. Well done! I wish there was a similar organization close to where I live, but as there isn't, I'll drive to Bee Cave as it's so worth it!

I found Bee Cave Arts Foundation 2 years ago. I’d recently retired as a cancer/medical researcher and was starting my next career as a professional metalsmith and jeweler. The staff at the Foundation is so welcoming of all artists and has created a great and supportive community. I’ve entered pieces in several of their juried art calls and continue to be amazed at the caliber of the other artists and especially their curators. At the same time, they welcome everyone including providing classes for children and adults. I work with other galleries in Central and South Texas, but I’m happy to call Bee Cave Arts Foundation my artistic home.

Bee Cave Arts Foundation is a hidden gem for art lovers!
I absolutely love visiting, whether to simply enjoy the beautiful art or as an artist myself, having had the joy of participating in a few of their shows. The space is inspiring, the curation is thoughtful, and it’s a place where creativity truly thrives. I highly recommend it to fellow art enthusiasts and collectors to check it out. It’s definitely worth a visit, you’ll leave feeling inspired!

I recently moved to
the area and was so excited to
find a vibrant community arts
program at Bee Cave. The
director and assistants/teachers are
passionate about supporting
art and artists. Such a kind staff!
Everyone I’ve met is friendly,
knowledgeable, supportive, and caring.
They provide programs for adults as well as children.
It melts your heart to see the smiles on
children, beaming with pride at their
success in class. As an artist and former
art teacher, I find the
rotating gallery shows inspirational.
Bee Cave Art Foundation is a treasure.
Stop by and see!

I and my family have been associated with BCAF since 2019 as both volunteers, consumer/general members of the public and we have loved every min of it! They not only helped nuture a love for the arts in my kids but also helped them find their hidden talent. They have helped bring amazing community events to the area and most are free to the public! Kids arts camps,Teen film camps, art exhibits, the electrifying Buzz Festival and the hoilday showcase are just a few of their creative offering. My family and I love giving back in whichever way we can and look forward to a lifelong association. If you have yet been to BCAF then you are certainly missing out!

The Bee Cave Hive has become a place for anyone interested in local arts and culture in Bee Cave. I love that they highlight student artists, encouraging their talents and giving them opportunity to be seen and appreciated. The weekend activities for young families are well-thought out and planned. I love that the Foundation isn't afraid to try new things -- the light Festival is evolving and growing, giving voice to groups not heard from often enough in Bee Cave. Last year's festival was the best ever.
Another thing the foundation has done is sponsored the Bee Cave Bees, which are fabulous sculptures that local artists have decorated and which grace the Galleria and other areas of our city. I love the diversity of those bees, and they never fail to make me smile.
I appreciate the Bee Cave Arts Foundation for working to increase the people of Bee Cave's awareness, appreciation, and support of the arts. You should check out The Hive in the Bee Cave Galleria to see their latest offerings.

What a great organization! I enjoy visiting with my friend who volunteers at the Bee Cave Arts Foundation. There is usually amazing art work for viewing or for sale, created by members, and often children's art projects in progress. Last time I visited, they were setting up for Halloween. A back room/area contains all kinds of donated items to be used for creating amazing art and crafts. Check them out! I highly recommend it!

Bee Cave Arts Foundation is so much more than an art gallery, even though they do a fabulous job of promoting local artists in a variety of shows throughout the year. They are truly a community arts foundation offering activities, classes and shows for both adults and children throughout the community of Bee Cave and beyond. The Foundation supports the sculpture garden, mosaics on the Hill Country Galleria walls, bee sculptures, mosaic benches, summer art camps, adult classes, opportunities for volunteers and more. As the quote goes, "Earth without art is just eh!" The Bee Cave Arts Foundation makes sure our community is not "just eh!"

A friend of mine who is on the board at The Hive got me involved in volunteering on occasion. I love the things they do for the community. When my Mom passed away in 2020, I brought back a lot of her sewing materials and donated them to The Hive. Cathy made the neatest Octopus and all the kids wanted their parents to buy it for them. Mom was a lifelong teacher and would have loved that and she would be proud to be part of a community that does so much for so many. The hard work that goes into this organization is easy to see just by walking in the front door or attending one of their many events.

Bee Cave Arts Foundation is a true “community” focused arts organization. They continually offer the opportunity for student artists, military veteran artists and their member artists to exhibit throughout the year. As well, they provide children’s art classes throughout the summer and on major school holidays. The Hive Gallery is a beautiful space that accommodates many exhibits at one time as well as fun, seasonal events like their support of Buzzfest and this year, a BOO Blast for the little kids. Beyond the gallery, where they began, is the fun Sculpture Park where all ages can enjoy art and nature. Wonderful organization in the hood!

The Bee Cave Arts Foundation has created amazing opportunities for community art projects, involving families, children and artists of all ages. Our favorite exhibitions are the student works, and their members exhibition which is beautifully varied. We love their support of young artists! We also love the Sculpture Park. It is a wonderful nonprofit organization to volunteer for as well.

I enjoy spending time at the Hive gallery and attending all of their fun events. I really appreciate opportunities to work on arts and crafts projects here, they make it easy for less artistic folks like me to learn. I especially love their sculpture garden and even made plans to get married there before having to cancel due to COVID shutdowns.

The bee cave arts foundation has been great to me. I am interning here for the summer. As a rising second year in university, organizations are hesitant to give internship opportunities to younger students. I am so happy they allowed me to learn and grow with them. I came into it not knowing much and now feel like I could run a gallery of my own confidently.

I have lived in Bee Cave for just over 4 years, and the scenic views inspire me. I have been taking iPhone photographs from my balconies and saving them. I read about a “dark skies” photography exhibition at The Hive at Hill Country Galleria, which is the public exhibition space of Bee Cave Arts Foundation, on the western edge of Austin. I selected a few of my night images and sent them in. To my surprise, two images were chosen for the show. What a treat! The exhibition and lecture by City staff about the importance of dark skies for wildlife were both enjoyable and I learned a lot. Since then, I have visited The Hive on several occasions, and I always enjoy myself.
