Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Our mission is to feed the hungry in Central Virginia.
Results: We have been in service since 2008. In 2019 we recovered 462,294 pounds of food from Food Lion, Walmart and Trader Joe's. We also accept fresh produce from local farmers. We fed 11,295 mouths in 2019. Our numbers increased in 2020 due to Covid. Thirty local pantrys closed and we absorbed the clients from those areas. We fed over 14,509 mouths in 2020.
Target demographics: the hungry, the working poor and anyone who needs help
Direct beneficiaries per year: 14, 509 clients directly through the pantry and shared our blessings with 7 other local pantrys.

Programs: free food such as produce, bakery, meats and non perishables.
