I congratulate Robin and Toni for starting their non-profit Beautifully Blind. They have put their hearts and souls into this organization and it shows. They are truly committed to helping the visually impaired and I am happy to do my part as a volunteer for this organization. I volunteered at the June Teenth festival in Colorado, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience to watch Robin and Toni explaining to those coming to the booth, what the organization was about and the services they offered. You could see that they are truly passionate about helping others and getting the word out about their organization. I am so happy to have been a part of it all.

Causes: Emergency Assistance, Human Services
Mission: The purpose of Beautifully Blind, Inc. is to bridge the gap between the sighted and visually impaired. Through education about blindness, grants for adaptive equipment, research, and support for blind persons and their families, we hope to help in leveling the playing field in social and professional arenas of life, as well as diminish the misconceptions of the blind and visually impaired.
Results: We spent a lot of time this year raising funds to purchase assisitive technology for those in need.
Target demographics: Low-income adults who are legally blind/visually impaired.
