The Beauchamp Foundation gives my family the opportunity to help children in need. It also brings my family closer to the reality of those who are less fortunate. We are able to make a monetary contribution knowing that it will change a child's life.
I witnessed first hand the wonderful work and the help the Beauchamp foundation provides to the community of La Boquita an Nicaragua in 2005 when I got married there. The foundation touches the lives of children by providing then things lives school supplies, clothes, and housing.
I was a volunteer with Beauchamp Charity Foundation since the first year they started. I was 12 years old and more than a decade later, I still have a vivid memory of that day and how that contributed to the person I am now. It was both inspiring and magical to see how little kids rejoiced from receiving christmas gifts and how the local schools progressed through the years with Beauchamp Charity Foundation's contribution. I hope they keep inspiring people from all ages to thrive.
Over the past 7 years I have worked closely with the foundation and I have witnessed the importance of their work. The Foundation currently sponsors girls and boys of the coastal communities by promoting access to quality education through the improvement of schools' infrastructure and providing the necessary materials for the children to attend school. I have seen what a small contribution can do, I encourage you to donate and change the lives of these kids through education.
I had the opportunity to attend a Surf Tournament at La Boquita, Nicaragua, Sponsored by the Beauchamp Foundation where children and adolescents participated in the competition. Activities like this are very important for them and to the whole community because they do no have means or opportunities like this. There are not many things available to them that they can enjoy.
This foundation has done a lot of good to Nicaragua specifically to la Boquita. "Education is Paramount", lots of children are getting educated and people are being hired and trained, so they earn their income and provide for their families.
I've been with the foundation for more than 10 years, since I was 6 years old. I'm proud to have been working with my mother for so many years and helping the needy in Nicaragua. I love the work that we do, it continues to inspire me in helping out in my own community wherever I go. We have also been making new efforts in a project to prevent underage drinking. I have participated with the foundation in the past and I experienced first hand the positive impact this non profit has had on the community. The foundation works hand in hand with the people, creating personal relationships and bonds with the locals so as to work in partnership with them. The foundation seeks to build a better, sustainable future so the community can thrive in spite of the economic and environmental hardships. What I liked the most was the opportunity to work together with the local people. To actually get to know and work with them. This approach enabled us to build together (locals and volunteers) and get a sense of what we can do, as one entity, to develop sustainable projects that future generations can benefit from.
My name is Gloria Gonzalez and I have known Monique Beauchamp and her foundation for many years now. She has done an incredible job with this community. She has built homes for the poor, helped the community with sponsorships, help to the most needy, help to the local schools. She also has supported sick dogs in the community and help them with vaccines. The foundation has done wonderful projects. I can say this community is a very difficult community to work with but Monique has continued doing it for many years despite many challenges.
Fundacion Villa Mar/Beauchamp Charity has done an amazing job for the last years. Still a small foundation that concentrates its efforts in La Boquita, Casares and communities around these fishermen's towns. We have volunteer at BCF and the opportunity they offered us was spectacular. We received well organized information from BCF before our trip to Nicaragua and the whole experience with them was a unforgettable experience. We helped at the school.
