I have participated in Beaucham Charity Foundation Inc.'s activities and have seen a real commitment in their members to fulfill their goal in the prevention of alcohol dependence and the empowerment of parents to handle adequately their underage children's risk of early use of alcohol. I am proud to have been involved in their activities and look forward to continuing to do so.

Attended a workshop for ASAP for youth
Very educational for parents on how to handle the situation of alcohol among kids which is at very worried level. Dr Tálamo , the guest speaker is well educated in the subject. The workshop was worth it; very good! Congratulations to ASAP for youth
The foundation is doing an amazing job with its new project ASAP for youth, act support alcohol prevention, for youth standing together .
The foundation is working with different experts in the field to educate the parents and kids; workshops, symposiums, are part of the project.
Amazing seminar that gave us valuable information!
The Beauchamp Foundation gives my family the opportunity to help children in need. It also brings my family closer to the reality of those who are less fortunate. We are able to make a monetary contribution knowing that it will change a child's life.
The Beauchamp Charity Foundation is making a difference in our community by educating parents on the risks associated with underage drinking. The foundation is carrying on this important work through its ASAP for youth standing together. I particularly enjoyed the workshop where mindfulness exercises were used to learn to talk to our children in an effective and non-judgemental way. I also found the information about the impact of alcohol on brain development very interesting and important.
This foundation is doing a great job with their ASAP for Youth project.
I recently visited La Boquita, the area where some of the kids leave. The school and some of the houses the foundation had builded for them.
There is much more to do, kids need toys these Christmas and more families are on a waiting list for housing. So far the results are amazing!
It was a great experienced to participate in the 1st Symposium on January 29th, 2018 that took place in Managua Nicaragua. It is the type of event that we family’s needs to get involved to understand the risk of alcohol to prevent substance abuse among adolescents. As a Nicaraguan's parents, I am grateful for this initiative organized by “ASAP” because helped us to educate parents, youth and communities on the health and social risks of underage drinking. It was great also to know the experiences and work that organizations as CEAS (Centro de Especialidades en Adicciones) are doing in Nicaragua. Attached 2 photos. The one on the left, Monique and David Stadthagen in a previous meeting. In the right, speakers Juan Manuel Caldera and David Stadthagen (CEAS -Nicaragua)
I have known Beauchamp Charity Foundation (BCF) since approximately 2005 when the Foundation was starting an amazing initiative with young people. The idea was to counteract alcoholism and drugs between young people that lived in the fishing community of "La Boquita" Carazo. The foundation met a group of boys with the ability of doing surfing and organized a competition as a local event. This experience allowed - in the national medium -to make known the young people with potential to be better surfers. The experience raised the security and self-esteem of these boys contributing with goal that the foundation had.
Beauchamp Charity Foundation is a diligent and relentless labor of love. It is a much needed and relevant foundation. Its various programs and long term commitment to individual children and their families, absolutely provides a much needed lifeline out of the cycle of poverty. ASAP, their newest program, focuses on community alcohol and drug abuse prevention and education. This is an INCREDIBLE ASSET to small communities whose youths often fall blindly into generational cycles of alcohol abuse. The program's aim, is to educate both parents and youths about the cultural, mental, and physical predisposing factors that often lead to long-life alcoholism and substance abuse. I believe this knowledge will empower many amazing young people to make the right choices for their lives through awareness of their own vulnerabilities. Knowledge is power! Overall, I wholeheartedly support and believe in Beauchamp Charity Foundation. I know they are making a difference.
I attended a conference regarding underage drinking which was very insightful.
Their latest project ASAP for youth is a great project really needed in our society. Teens are in need of help. The foundation is focusing on educating the parents on prevention of alcohol consumption among kids and teens. As much as parents may not like to think about it, the real truth is that kids and teens are trying alcohol before it is legal for them to drink. It is not safe or legal. The foundation is doing a great job trying to educate the parents .
I witnessed first hand the wonderful work and the help the Beauchamp foundation provides to the community of La Boquita an Nicaragua in 2005 when I got married there. The foundation touches the lives of children by providing then things lives school supplies, clothes, and housing.
I was a volunteer with Beauchamp Charity Foundation since the first year they started. I was 12 years old and more than a decade later, I still have a vivid memory of that day and how that contributed to the person I am now. It was both inspiring and magical to see how little kids rejoiced from receiving christmas gifts and how the local schools progressed through the years with Beauchamp Charity Foundation's contribution. I hope they keep inspiring people from all ages to thrive.
Over the past 7 years I have worked closely with the foundation and I have witnessed the importance of their work. The Foundation currently sponsors girls and boys of the coastal communities by promoting access to quality education through the improvement of schools' infrastructure and providing the necessary materials for the children to attend school. I have seen what a small contribution can do, I encourage you to donate and change the lives of these kids through education.
I had the opportunity to attend a Surf Tournament at La Boquita, Nicaragua, Sponsored by the Beauchamp Foundation where children and adolescents participated in the competition. Activities like this are very important for them and to the whole community because they do no have means or opportunities like this. There are not many things available to them that they can enjoy.
This foundation has done a lot of good to Nicaragua specifically to la Boquita. "Education is Paramount", lots of children are getting educated and people are being hired and trained, so they earn their income and provide for their families.
I've been with the foundation for more than 10 years, since I was 6 years old. I'm proud to have been working with my mother for so many years and helping the needy in Nicaragua. I love the work that we do, it continues to inspire me in helping out in my own community wherever I go. We have also been making new efforts in a project to prevent underage drinking. Please visit our website !
I have participated with the foundation in the past and I experienced first hand the positive impact this non profit has had on the community. The foundation works hand in hand with the people, creating personal relationships and bonds with the locals so as to work in partnership with them. The foundation seeks to build a better, sustainable future so the community can thrive in spite of the economic and environmental hardships. What I liked the most was the opportunity to work together with the local people. To actually get to know and work with them. This approach enabled us to build together (locals and volunteers) and get a sense of what we can do, as one entity, to develop sustainable projects that future generations can benefit from.
My name is Gloria Gonzalez and I have known Monique Beauchamp and her foundation for many years now. She has done an incredible job with this community. She has built homes for the poor, helped the community with sponsorships, help to the most needy, help to the local schools. She also has supported sick dogs in the community and help them with vaccines. The foundation has done wonderful projects. I can say this community is a very difficult community to work with but Monique has continued doing it for many years despite many challenges.
Fundacion Villa Mar/Beauchamp Charity has done an amazing job for the last years. Still a small foundation that concentrates its efforts in La Boquita, Casares and communities around these fishermen's towns. We have volunteer at BCF and the opportunity they offered us was spectacular. We received well organized information from BCF before our trip to Nicaragua and the whole experience with them was a unforgettable experience. We helped at the school.

Beauchamp Charity Foundation,
Hello, my name is Mary-Anne. This foundation is a great help to the kids of La Boquita. They excel in changing the kids' lives and making them happier every day. I stumbled upon this foundation when I was going on a trip to Nicaragua with my family. My son and daughter, Nick and Sophie, wanted to go surfing there, as they heard it was excellent, and we decided to go too, with my husband as well, Phillip. To take a break off of the stressful life of the city, as we are from New York. We weren't sure on where about in Nicaragua we were going to go, so we decided to look at some catalogues. We found one catalogue that showed La Boquita, and described it as a pretty fisherman town, amazing sunsets, poor, and best waves in Nicaragua! We had also heard that the world championships, paddle boarding was happening there. I know that this review is pretty long, but if you would read it all and get inspired by it, that would be amazing.
When we got to La Boquita, we were having a "radical" time. The kids were loving the beach and Phillip and I were really relaxed. While we were there, we heard about BEAUCHAMP CHARITY FOUNDATION, and we wanted to donate, as we had seen the poorness of La Boquita and wanted to make their life more fulfilled with happiness. When we met the owner of BEAUCHAMP CHARITY FOUNDATION, Monique Beauchamp, through Skype, she was very nice. We deposited a check to her and right away she gave it to the kids. We gave them clothes and toys and they were very happy. And so were we.
So if you get the chance to help the world, do it because if it makes your life better or someone else's, the question isn't why, it's why not? :D

My name is Donald Crissey and I have known Monique Beauchamp for the past 17 years and was pleased to be able to contribute to the Beauchamp Charity Foundation for the past 6 years. I have sponsored two children and have had continuous feedback from the Foundation as to the scholastic and social achievements that the Foundation has helped these children to attain. Several years ago, I had the opportunity to visit la Boquita and took the opportunity to check on the work of the Foundation and see first hand the opportunities it had provided for the children in this small community. One evening, I took a horse ride that took me high into the surrounding mountains and ended at the sandy spit of land adjacent to the large stream separating it from the town. There were a number of shanty type homes on this land. It was a primitive and somewhat impoverished environment and the small shelters were made of literally anything available to these poor people. The child I was sponsoring lived in one of these shelters with his family. I came upon an English speaking gentleman who directed me to his small home. The child's name was Ehrlin and when we called his name, he came out and I met him and through the help of this fellow was able to speak with Ehrlin. I was invited inside the home and met the father who was at the time helping Ehrlin with his homework. The shelter was lit by a bare lightbulb. There were virtually no comforts in this home and this child was thrilled to show me copies of his schoolwork and artwork he had done in class, that now served as the decorations of the shelter.
I was awestruck that my contribution of a a few hundred of dollars a year, could be of such help in educating this child. I was honored and humbled to be a small part of the work of the Foundation and can attest to the integrity and good efforts of Mrs. Beauchamp and her team. I plan to continue my support of the foundation and to anyone who has any doubts about the work of the Foundation or to the benefits it has brought to la Boquita and its children, I urge you to visit la Boquita and see first hand what has been achieved.
If you have any questions or if I can be of assistance, please feel free to email me at ELPRIMODONALD@AOL.COM.
