Causes: Community & Neighborhood Development, Economic Development
Mission: To promote equitable economic development in our neighborhood through community engagement, organizing, advocacy, networking and collaboration.
Programs: In 2017 we served more than 1000 neighborhood stakeholders through events, services and programmatic activities. We conducted multiple informational and technical assistance sessions and workshops to advocate for neighborhood plan guidelines, to connect and support the property and business community; produced over 200 individual social media communications, provided small business training sessions; and through our district services program we facilitated multiple neighborhood clean up events, graffiti abatement services, and sponsored and/or implemented public art murals; sponsored multiple free community events involving neighborhood businesses, musicians, and artisans.
