Mission: Beacon Charitable Pharmacy’s mission is to provide access for the most vulnerable populations to pharmaceuticals and education through the Beacon Charitable Pharmacy, as well as to collaborate with other healthcare providers and community organizations to maximize resources and provide effective and efficient services. Clients will receive their medications on an ongoing basis for one year and then if they continue to qualify for the program, they will be renewed. The organization will advocate, educate and cultivate services and funding to serve the medication needs of the community.
Programs: To provide assistance for low income residents of stark county to obtain prescription medication. In 2017 pan dispensed 21,385 prescription medications for 3,931 individuals and the medications at an average wholesale price value (awp) of $2,157,815.
