My wife started volunteering at Be Finally Free 5 years ago. She had been praising all of the work they do. I decided to see for myself by volunteering to help out with their community events. I was impressed to see how much this organization cares for the people who society has given up on. I have seen first hand how they are willing to help my brother who has fallen into trouble. They live out the scripture that says leave the 99 to go after the one sheep who has strayed away.
I have been a volunteer for this organization for several years. When Debbie Ormonde started this ministry, I was intrigued. Curious. A little scared to step out of the box and try it. But after I took that first step and learned and watched what this ministry does and how it touches inmates everywhere. This is such a well rounded ministry. From teaching in the jails and prisons to counseling and teaching life classes on the outside. Its opened my eyes and my heart to those who need to hear the word and feel Gods love.
My name is Herbert Gomez. I am writing this small note to express my gratitude to this org. They were there for me when I had no hope, they carried me through a time when I felt no one cared. I believe that we need to change the way we look at those who are incarcerated. there are those who only need someone to believe in them. If you are looking to support an org. that goes far and beyond to serve. I believe this one is one that not only serves the community but also serves God. We are to love one another and love is an action word, it does not discriminate or judge. with that being said thank you Be Finally Free.
I have been a part of Be Finally Free for over five years now. Every event, class, or day that I volunteer is an exciting, fun adventure. The team loves God and loves to share that love with everyone. It does not matter where you come from or where you are. They genuinely love you where you are. I have seen this ministry impact others and work to encourage and uplift and motivate them to be who they were created to be. This is a great group and organization to be a part of.
Be Finally Free is a wonderful organization that reaches out to the marginalized in our city. We have classes, counseling, programs, etc., to help those just released from prison; dealing with drugs, alcohol and homelessness. The President of our organization and the Executive Director work tirelessly to offer help to whose who are down and out. I am honored to be a small part of their effort to let those who are struggling know that someone cares.
I started as a volunteer in the office at Be Finally Free 3 years ago. I was inspired to continue to volunteer and help because of the passion and dedication of the staff. They go above and beyond to help those in need. I have seen them create entire programs because one person came into the office and needed that service and no other organization was providing it. If you are looking for a place to volunteer or support financially, then Be Finally Free is the place you should consider.
I’ve been a volunteer for Be Finally Free for 2 years. I joined the team after meeting some of their staff members and learning more about their passion and commitment to serving our communities. Im blessed to be part of an organization that is focused on seeing to the comfort of others without the expectation of return. I pray that Be Finally Free continues to grow and be successful.
