For the past 13 years my husband and I have been involved with BMM. He as a volunteer orthopedic surgeon, I as a surgical nurse. (www.baysidemedicalmissions.org ) This is a fantastic medical ministry. They provide corrective orthopedic surgeries for persons of limited resources by inviting teams of volunteer doctors & medical personnel to work in their clinic , La Vida, in Ecuador. All volunteers donate their time and expertise, thus making it possible for highly specialized surgeries to be received in areas where they are not available. Because they function as volunteers, costs are low and results are very high. Best investment of funds possible.

Programs: To provide medical services to underprivileged individuals in third world and impoverished countries. A team of medically trained missionaries are sent to countries in desperate need of medical attention.
