The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice is a dedicated Queer Safe-Space & community activist hub for LGBTQIA youth, intersectional families, & all marginalized folx across the spectrum with innovative all-inclusive initiatives, powerful programs, & extraordinary events at their Princeton, NJ HQ that welcomes all with the care & respect they need & deserve, both locally & on a national platform which connects our beautifully diverse communities. At the forefront of intersectional social justice & queer advocacy with such robust resources as their Queer Youth Brigade, Transgender Justice Collective, Birth Justice Repro Rights, HIV testing, PRIDE Parade & After-Party, GOTV & voter registration drives, Queer Community Gatherings, Welcomin’ the Community Free Breakfast, Racial Justice Task Force, & Defenders of the Right to Read combattin' censorship & battlin' book bans (& book-banners)! Especially now when we have an administration that encourages bullying and hate and intolerance, organizations like this one are so important for our kids who are so at risk and the fact that they represent so many different communities is rare and wonderful and should be celebrated.
