Mission: Bay Clinic is a community-directed healthcare organization that provides quality primary and preventive care services to the people of East Hawai'i. Bay Clinic will ensure that patient-centered, culturally responsive, and affordable healthcare services are locally accessible in our communities.
Target demographics: Medically underserved populations, including people living in poverty, the homeless, the uninsured, immigrants, and migrants.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 22,096 patients with 78,174 patient visits.
Geographic areas served: East Hawai'i - Districts of North Hilo, South Hilo, Puna, and Ka'u
Programs: Preventive health screenings, voluntary family planning, breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program, adult and child dental care, well child care, immunizations, OB-GYN, behavioral health, WIC, tobacco cessation, case management, health education, outreach, translation services, and nutrition counseling.

I had to go to the Pahoa clinic a few weeks ago and just wanted to say that the doctor out there was really great. The nurse that helped was also really kind. It was a good experience for me.
