Far outstanding since there are nearly no other stations that play jazz. This station tells you of local upcoming events and I have gone to many and loved the experiences with Latin Grammy nominees like Ed Calle and Arturo Sandoval. I look forward to more great music and the soothing tone of the hosts!

I worked in radio for many years before moving to South Florida. I can attest to the very special treasure we have in WDNA-FM. The straight-ahead Jazz nicely seasoned with Latin and Caribbean music is a perfect blend not only for our unique community, but also for the changing demographics of our dynamic country. I am especially proud of what WDNA has accomplished in the Jazz radio idiom. I support it with my donations, I hope you will to. This is a unique channel that suits us perfectly. Please help keep WDNA alive and thriving. Carlos Pagán Radio Lover

DNA really targets our community with great latin jazz. I really enjoy the latin jazz quarter and fusion latina. DNA also sponsors great events. I regularly attend the events given by the University of Miami Concert Jazz Band.

I have been listening to WDNA for only a short time, but it doesn't take long for anyone who listens to realize that the staff and management at DNA are commited to providing the community with not only great music, but also vital health and life information. Their partnership with Baptist hospital shows a clarity in mission and programing to engage the listening audience, and allow access to vital current health issues. I recently when back to my own doctor to discuss an issue I heard on thier 'Life and Health' segment, and as it turned out, it was the best thing I could have done for myself as I was ignoring a condition that could have turned into something serious. WDNA is also not just great radio, they are provding the South Florida community with access to the arts. Their new facility shows an eagerness to invited their listeners, and the community to share in the experience of great art. I had the fortunate opportunity to attend two of their most recent art exhibits of local artist. It was a great event filled music, good company and interesting art. The atmosphere at WDNA is one of family where I feel much welcomed at, and one of which I know I will be with for a long, long time.

WDNA 88.9FM has been my favorite radio station since I started listening over 15 years ago. My mind would get blown every morning while driving to work listening to Frank Consola. Then in 2005 I was between jobs so I started to volunteer at the station. Gene DeSouza showed me how to work the board and I landed the LJQ show on Tuesdays 12-3pm. Once I started working again I switched to Monday nights and added Mano P. as my co-programmer. Eventually we switched to Sunday nights and that has been our slot ever since. We are going on 5 years as volunteers and every week we give back to the community with pleasure. Playing music to blow your mind. The staff is wonderful. Everyone works hard and does a great job. Quality music is played by experienced and knowledgable dj's that have their hearts in the right place. A place to call home.

I have been a fan of the station since '86, they have the most and best Jazz, Latin and Brazilian music in South Florida. I have briefly been a volunteer dj, and as a musician and jazz entrepreneur i have been interviewed several times by on-air hosts such as Mel Lipton and Charlie K, as well as having selections from my Cd's played by several of the dj's. The station is always supportive of local artists and events, and also offers very affordable advertising rates. WDNA is indispensable !

WDNA is the best. I did an interview with Andy Harlow about my latest CD, Timbasa, and it was a blast. Andy was on time, welcoming and intelligent in his questions and responses. He picked just the right tracks from the album to give my music the most impact. This is my second interview. I had a live interview some time ago. And was treated like family. As an artist who relies on WDNA to make my music available in Miami, I couldn't be happier with everything and everyone from WDNA. Mark Weinstein, Jazz Flutist

88.9FM WDNA is one of the most wonderful and unique radio stations I have ever heard in the US or anywhere else. The programming is so diverse and entertaining that I never get tired of listening, something I cannot say for commercial stations. The hosts really know the music, whether its jazz, Latin, Brazilian, reggae or Indian music. They also let me know about all the great music, film and arts events in town. This is an amazing institution that the people of Miami really need to be more aware of and grateful for.

I have been listening for years. WDNA is simply the BEST! They are a true benefit to the community for music, the arts and information people really need. They provide knowledge of health related issues and make important connections within the community. Did I mention they are great people too? Dedicated lovers of music and the community. Long live WDNA!

My husband and I LOVE this station. The hosts who are both paid staff and volunteers are very knowledgable about music. The live broadcasts are energetic and fun. The public events they do in partnership with the University of Miami, Frost School of Music are fantastic and inexpensive to attend. The new series of concerts at the station are intimate and the talent is amazing. We listen in the car, at the office and in our home. Susan

The best of all possible worlds; great jazz, great reggae, great brazilian music and so much more. Did I say great jazz? The greatest! I gladly volunteer for any and all events where I can be of use to this wonderful musical resource. Also the news from the BBC! They fill a true need in my community where the sirwaves are cluttered with banal overplayed "hits".

WDNA is the ONLY radio station I listen when I am in the car. Frank in the morning does a wonderful job in playing different music all the time and he is so knowledgeable. When I come back from work I also listen and if I drive in the evening I also tune in WDNA: Fusion Latina, etc. I enjoy going to the concerts at Frost School of Music that are sponsored by WDNA. All in all, this radio station is superb.

Absolutely wonderful. So nice to hear dj's who are knowledgable about music. Have lived all over US, was a music major. WDNA makes it totally unnecessary to have satelite radio in car. I listen to it all day long.

I've been a fan of great music since I was born. Thanks to my late father, I was exposed to everything from classical to 50's pop to jazz and klezmer to r & b, yiddishe pop, opera and Broadway. I come from a very musical family and we not only listened together but we also played together. One sister played piano and cello, the other played piano and accordian and I played piano and clarinet, my father sang and my mother watched and listened. It was wonderful. As I grew up, I discovered New York salsa music, Cuban music and modern jazz. I used to buy a lot of records because no one radio station could satisfy my appetite for diverse cultural music. In all the years I lived in NYC there were some good jazz stations and good classical stations but never was there a radio station which offered a variety of global music. Here in South Florida we have WDNA, 88.9 fm. It is a global radio station servicing a very multi-cultural community. Most of the DJ's are incredibly knowledgeable. They play only the very best music of a particular genre. During the summer months, my husband and I live in Europe where we listen to WDNA online. This way, because of the time difference, we get to hear the shows that we generally miss when in the states. The music is always excellent. The talk shows are always informative and cutting edge. Every morning as I wait for my first cup of coffee, I turn on the radio to Frank Consola's show from 6am til 11am. He is a walking jazz encyclopedia and plays the very best music any jazz fan could possibly desire. WDNA offers quality programming 24/7 and I am deeply grateful and feel so fortunate to have them in my life on a daily basis, wherever I am in the world.

Entertaining. Enriching. Valuable. Informative. Let's me know about interesting local events I would not find out about, otherwise. Laid-back, Unpretentious, Honest.

WDNA has been an oasis of musical culture in Miami for many years. I tune in whenever I can to hear music that I would never find anywhere else. Although their terrestrial signal was not always as strong as I wanted - for instance, if I am in my car in another county I can't hear them - their presence on the Web is excellent, and I stream their shows sometimes. I wish there were more radio stations like 88.9 FM Miami!
