Jamie has been awesome. She knows who to pair which dog with. I only wanted to be a foster twice and both times, I ended up adopting the dog. She knew all along that I would and I am glad as both dogs have given me the best memories and some still in the making. Her dedication to dog rescue has been inspiring.

Jamie works tirelessly taking care of every dog she can. She has gathered a large group of dedicated fosters and donors who support her efforts wholeheartedly. The dogs and our community are so lucky to have her.

BARC rescue continues to selflessly save our furry friends! They are constantly sacrificing their time for the good of those that need rescue.

Jamie does great work! We got our sweet Lola from BARC. She also rescued one that had been shot and found on a friend’s property.

I have fostered twice for BARC, and recommend this rescue whenever I can! The first time, I was a foster fail because I ended up adopting Stella, a miniature schnauzer mix who was left behind when her precious owners moved out of their rent house! They never let her outside because they weren’t allowed to have a pet. For the first week, I could not get her to walk over my threshold to go outside. I had to pick her up and carry her through the doorway. She is still timid about some things, but has really blossomed. The second time I fostered I regretted not keeping that dog, but at least he went to another home that had children who played with him. BARC goes out of its way to save as many dogs as possible, giving them a chance when they might otherwise be euthanized for space in the city pound. LOVE LOVE LOVE BARC! ❤️

BARC is an amazing nonprofit that lives up to their mission everyday providing the homeless and at risk animals in our community with shelter, medical and through fostering and adoption finding safe and loving forever homes. They are a volunteer only rescue and depend on the community for financial support.

BARC works tirelessly to help save dogs in our community. In the past, I pulled and transported many dogs from shelters for this wonderful rescue, so they would not be euthanized. I wish my current situating allowed me time to assist again.

This group is always stepping up to save animals from the streets or from euthanasia at a shelter. They love these animals back to health and work to find homes. So much time, effort and love are spent and I admire these people so much. They save so many!

My daughter adopted a rescue from here that was heartworm positive. The rescue paid for the entire treatment. We got many years with our Bowie girl after the rough life she had before us.

Barc is such a wonderful organization. They strive every day to do what they can.

My husband and I are volunteer transport drivers for multiple rescues. We had the pleasure of assisting our first transport for BARC on one of their special needs animals. They fully invest themselves in placing animals in the right home so that the animal is loved and thrives. No animal placement is taken lightly and their passion is evident.

BARC is a wonderful organization that takes care of its animals! You know when you adopt a pet from them, you are getting an awesome animal!

BARC Rescue does amazing and much needed work in our community. Without their tireless efforts many, many dogs would die awful agonizing deaths on the streets. Unfortunately, until the laws change there will always be a need for this wonderful organization.

We adopted our Aurora through BARC and have been witnessing the selfless work that they are doing to save as many animals as they can.

I had lost my Pitt after 12 years and was so lonely. I seen Autumn a 5 yr old Pitt on Barc website. I talked with Jamie and she told me that Autumn had been returned 3 times to her in her short life. Jamie seen Autumn thru several surgeries and she has large scar on her back. We had a meet and greet and I fell in love with Autumn. I had Jamie bring her on that Friday when I got off work. It’s been a beautiful relationship with her. Jamie has stopped by and visited. To find Autumn very happy in her forever home.

BARC Rescue is making a real difference in dogs lives in our community and beyond. The work she and volunteers do is always transparent. Viewers & supporters see photos & videos of the dogs transition, their story, their recovery & road to new (vetted) homes. All of the complexities & behind the scenes work is also transparent like medical & boarding billing. The community appreciates the extensive efforts of this rescue in changing the lives of so many dogs for the better!

This rescue truly cares for every single animal that comes their way. They lead with compassion to enlist fosters and ensure safe adopters for the fur babies. As many animals that need help nowadays, I am furever grateful there are places like BARC to be the love these animals need in their lives.

I've adopted two dogs and fostered two puppies through Barc. All came from horrible situations but Barc did not hesitate to get them the care they needed and made sure the puppies were adopted into appropriate homes. We love Barc Rescue! ❤️

Barc, Broken Arrow Rescue Corp, is so important in saving the lives of & finding homes for our voiceless, furry friends. Oklahoma has been flooded with unwanted, homeless, abused & neglected animals. This crisis has led to mass euthanasia in our state, sadly. Barc is a non profit that goes above & beyond helping to lower the number of deaths & neglect of God's creatures.

I live over 7 hours away from this rescue but from out connection on Facebook,
I have become a supporter! What this small rescue with a lot of heart can accomplish is unbelievable. Animals are saved through the dedication and hard work of the staff and fosters, and though I cannot physically help, I have been able to donate periodically. It is a joy to watch what is accomplished by BARC, even from across the state of Oklahoma!

Even just seeing how dedicated they are to even an individual animal is amazing. Muffin is so tiny and so fragile, they have been in constant care of her and now she is thriving. It's inspiring to watch!

I am currently on my second foster for this organization - the first was a foster fail. Both were urgent rescues and done at the drop of a hat. They look to get to the bottom or any medical/behavioral conditions so that the dog has the best possible chance for getting a forever home. They have never let money stop them from helping an animal in need.
They are thorough and appropriately selective when it comes to finding forever homes, all in the best interest of both the dog and the people.
Public education on dogs and the over reproduction of them is a big objective as well and all dogs are fixed prior to being adopted.

I started fostering with BARC in 2017. I ended up adopting one of my fosters as well as continuing to foster. Jamie has been amazing and BARC has been so pleasant to work with !!!

BARC is truly a RESCUE Group. At one time I myself was looking for a fur baby, mine had passed away. After speaking with Jamie Cope whom is BARC she was such an inspiration and the lengths she goes to in helping every animal! It's unbelievable the love she has for so many animals left with zero hope. Since then I have volunteered as much as possible and have had the joy of being a foster mother a few times now and it changes you. Honestly Broken Arrow is truly fortunate to have Jamie and all the other volunteers who every day we hear, find another animal in desperate need. She's there, always!!! Saying goodbye to the babies I've fostered is hard for myself, but then we get pictures from the wonderful forever homes that Jamie has found and my heart is at ease. This group is professional and always the animal comes first. There will always be a need for more help, too many animal owners around us that do not treat these wonderful animals with respect and love. It's been a absolute joy to be a part of this Rescue Group and our dream is that one day all the animal neglect will fade. Jamie Cope has saved thousands of fur babies. BARC CARES!!!

I am a member of a few rescue groups. I can honestly say everyday you see all the animals in need of new homes or foster is needed to help in Rehabilitation of a pet that was returned because the owner didn’t do research before adopting or purchase.
Then it’s BARC to the rescue. BARC has helped with giving animals the second chance they need. I can say Jamie Cope does so much for all the animals in need. If you have a fur baby you love more than anything else on this earth. Do your fur baby a favor. Donate to BARC in your fur babies name. Help another poor fur baby that doesn’t get the love you and your baby does. If you can give food it goes to Help nurture and care for one who is just learning what a foster family can be. If you can give money it goes for spaying and neutering or other needed vet care.
I’m fortunate that I’m a lucky woman who sometimes can help and get the fur babies to another Journey to a better and more beautiful life. BARC

BARC is a fabulous rescue group that focuses on rescuing animals from Broken Arrow, OK area. However, they are always willing to step in and help other animals in need throughout the Tulsa area. They are a incredibly compassionate group, helping advocate for spay and neuter laws as well. BARC has helped place dogs with specials needs, puppies, and elderly dogs. They are also very good stewards of the donations they receive. BARC hosts “meet and greet” adoption events to help their foster dogs find homes. They also do various fundraising events throughout the year. I highly recommend BARC rescue as a group you should consider volunteering for at events as well as making monetary donations to them.

I first met Jamie Cope, the founder of BARC, several years ago when I saw donations needed for 3 dogs boarding to save them from a kill shelter, on our Neighborhood Network. Since that time she has come to my rescue in dealing with lost dogs to starving dogs (at the hand of their owners.) I was impressed with her love and dedication for animals in need, that I decided to volunteer with BARC. Everyone in this organization goes above and beyond to save these fur babies and place them with families that will love and provide them with their forever homes.

I volunteer in several capacities for BARC and have witnessed the passion and commitment evident amongst the members of the organization. BARC strives to help as many animals possible and all the while, help improve the environment at the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter. BARC has also stepped in to help citizens that need help with their animals. (provide food, vet care, foster homes etc.). Often, they take injured or sick animals, providing them vet care and a future for a new, safe and loving home. I wish all non profits were as genuine and pure of heart as BARC.

BARC is my favorite non profit group in Broken Arrow, Ok because of my love for rescues. I have personally witnessed the devotion of BARC’s president Jamie Cope towards animals that are rescues. BARC does so much for the Broken Arrow community and helps other groups when needed. I remember last year after the flooding in Houston when BARC worked long hours helping with the arrival of rescues and then working on donations for those rescue animals coming from Texas. BARC works tirelessly for the animals and also on fundraising to keep BARC operating so that future rescues can benefit. I am a proud supporter of BARC and what BARC does for our community.

I have known about BARC and the owner Jamie for two years and commend her efforts towards rescuing animals. BARC not only rescues animals; but, assists other rescue groups when needed. BARC works tirelessly and at times with limited resources because of Jamie's love for animals. BARC is an asset to the Broken Arrow community; but, more importantly to the animals rescued because of BARC. Jamie's tireless devotion is why I am a proud supporter of BARC. I have volunteered with BARC in regards to fundraising such as yard sales and adoption events and have witnessed the long hours and devotion that goes into BARC. This rescue helps so many people and pets in need throughout Oklahoma and especially in the Broken Arrow community. I have volunteered and fostered for them and have found them to be very supportive and responsive to any questions I had. I highly recommend BARC!

I have fostered 5 dogs from this rescue. Jamie who is over this rescue helps provide for this animals in any possible. We make sure our rescue pups have a good loving home. It was very rewarding to watch each dog go to their forever homes.
