I was extremely impressed by the longevity of this organization. It was established as an orphanage in the 1800's and still cares for 'orphans' today in the 21st century. They provide a great service, especially to teens needing shelter and care outside of the home. Good kids from difficult circumstances.
BCS YES! has a bunch of different group homes for boys and girls (separate), and a shelter just for boys. They do a really good job of taking care of the kids and seem to really care. It's a great program and unlike a lot of places, they make things easy for volunteers. Everyone worked together and I like that.
