Mission: The Festival is a celebration of multi-cultural traditional arts -- music, dance, crafts, food and storytelling. The Bangor Folk Festival, founded in 2003, grew out of the need to increase access exposure, and education of traditional and multicultural arts and culture for people in our underserved and economically challenged region. Through greater access and exposure to multicultural arts and culture, the AFF will positively impact our region's quality of life where many residents have not been afforded the opportunity to experience and learn about the arts, hear live performances from traditional artists, and take part in workshops about other cultures and traditions.

My wife and I have very much enjoyed volunteering at the festival. We have done a variety of jobs there and look forward to volunteering again next year

I have volunteered for this organization for the past four years. It's an incredible event that they bring to us each summer, and lets us see and hear music from across the world. Thank you for making this art possible.
