This organization is student-centered. All aspects of the program center and focus on enhancing the student experience. Each student is valued, honored, and nurtured. Being student-centered allows the program to reach their families and members of the community, which is turn raises awareness and support for the organization.

Mission: The Bands of Wando Foundation provides private funding to help children from all economic backgrounds benefit from collaborative discipline, personal responsibility, and creative expression through participation in the excellent band and color guard programs of Wando High School, and Cario Middle School, and Laing Middle School.
Programs: To provide financial support to aid academic and educational music programs.
