I went last year and had a great time! The vounteers were attentive and the bands were awesome! My husband and I can't wait for this years festival!
As both a volunteer and a Board member of one of the children's charities which benefits from Baha Blues Fest, I cannot say enough good things about the organization and the event. The fest brings top quality musicians year after year, drawing repeat visitors who know the quality experience they will have. BBF organizers do an outstanding job orienting all of the volunteers as to thei assignments. The public arriving for the event are. Uniformly happy because they know from past oriented how much fun they will have.
Our organization, Amigos de la Biblioteca, has received generous donations for several years running in support of our reading programs for children.

We attened the first and the 3rd annual Baja Blues Fest and had the time of our life. The best part is knowing that money is being raised for the organizations that benefit the children of Baja. The work and dedication everyone puts in is amazing. My heart goes out to them. All the music is fantastic, the atmosphere couldn't be beat and the food is great. If I had to say anything negative it would be that there should be more local vendors selling items that are made locally. Otherwise everly thing was fantastic and will sure to go for as long as they have this event.
We have attended all three years of the Baja Blues Fest and love it. The location beach side at the Rosarito Beach Hotel is beautiful. The food and drink is good, affordable and plentiful. There are many interesting vendors and artisans in attendance displaying there works. But let's not forget the music! The music starts before noon and continues into the evening, with many talented groups. The Baja Blues Fest is as good as a day can get!
We volunteered to help with the Baja Blues Fest and then our real estate company purchased a booth. We were extremely happy with the great organizational abilities. It's quite a project! The staff was all friendly and helpful and the food and music were great. All the volunteer efforts go to helping the children of Rosarito and they make quite an impact. Cudos to those who spend the entire year committed to this important project.

The Baja Blues Fest was absolutely great this year and it generates money for the children of Rosarito Beach.
I have happily traveled from St. Louis, Missouri to volunteer at the Baja Blues Fest in Rosarito since the onset of this wonderful event. The music, people, weather, arts & crafts have all been so enjoyable that I can't wait until the next year every time! The folks who put this together think of everyone - young & old - to make it the very best event ever! I am proud to be part of it (a very small part!) and look forward to more great tunes & times with the Baja Blues Festival!!!!
This year was my first time at the Baja Blues Fest. I was impressed with the organization of the event, the quality of the acts and the friendliness of the staff and volunteers. I will definitely go again next year.
I've volunteered and helped with each of the three annual music festivals that Baja Blues Fest has held. From the first, I felt they did an outstanding job with the production values of the concerts, and the musical acts were very good; all in all, events very much worth seeing. I've not had a part in the financials of their operation, but I count all the principals as friends, and can speak highly of their capabilities, integrity, and desire to help those in Baja who can truly benefit from BBF's financial assistance.
My wife and I along with another couple attended this years Baja Blues Fest in Rosarito Beach, Baja, California. We enjoyed the festive atmosphere, the art vendors and of course the music. It was a professional presentation and I had the opportunity to hear some really fresh entertainment. I strongly encourage all music lovers to put this fun event on your calendar for next year.

I've been a volunteer at the Baja Blues Fest for three years and hope to do so for coming years. It's a well-organized event with a positive outcome for both the community and visitors who attend. Fun live music, interesting vendors and fabulous food add to the festivities, something for all ages and family members. The music is so contagious the dance floor is filled with dancers ranging in age from toddlers to octogenarians, and maybe a few nonagenarians even sneak onto the dance floor from time to time. The proceeds go to those members of the community who need help the most, and the town itself benefits by the people who come specifically for the Festival.
Not only was the Baja Blues Fest a wonderful event for the community, but it also resulted in a significant donation to our Friends of the Library group. That donation helped to fund our Rosarito Lee (Rosarito Reads) program serving more than 4,000 elementary school kids!
The Baja Blues Fest puts on a great event, lots of good food, drink and great music.
Best of all it provides much needed money for the children of Baja and helps the economy of the entire area with the many persons attending the event.
As for myself, I enjoyed working with Blues Fest organizers in putting on this great event and
I thoroughly enjoyed the event itself.
This is my third year as a volunteer for the Baja Blues Festival and I can honestly say that the team managing this event has really ironed out any wrinkles in the entire event. This year's event ran like a Swiss watch. The musicians were fabulous, the vendors provided some delicious food items, and it truly looked like a good time was had by everyone in attendance. The best part of all, everyone had a great time and the money raised went to benefit some very needy children here in Baja California.
In my first career I served as a Vice President and Manager of a major west coast bank. During my eleven years with the bank I served on over sixteen non-profit boards of directors, including one National Board of Directors.
While serving on these non-profit boards I was involved in the planning and implantation of many fund raising events. I can personally attest to the need of strong leadership, well thought out concept, detail event planning and building the needed volunteer man power to have a successful fund raiser.
As a participating vendor the past two years, I have been aware of the work of the leadership group behind The Baja Blues Fest and can speak very favorably of the success of their events.
They provide one of Rosarito Beach's most popular summer events and the results of the organization have benefited our community in many ways. Any donations to this organization will support many local organizations worthy of your support
My wife and I have attended the Baja Blues Festival for the second year and are very impressed by the nonprofit organization's efforts to make each year better than the previous year. Their dedicated effort to continuously deliver more to the public is amazing. The Baja Blues Fest Oraganizastion shines above many other non-profit organizations I have supported in the past, starting with United Way as the first nonprofit organization I started contributing while at my first employer soon after graduating from College.
Pattii and I are very fortunate to be associated with an organization devoted to helping so many children where no other assistance is available and their future so limited without the help from the Baja Blues Fest Organization. Thanks for the opportunity to voice our opinion. Hector
Helping children and having a blast at the same time can't be beat! This reminds me of the Doheney Blues fest, but for a good cause! I recommend you check it out yourself. The coordination of the event went so smoothly that everyone had a great time.
Fabulous organzation! Helps so many children - with a fun and entertaining program. A wonderful way to bring cultures together across borders for a better world!
The Baja Blues Fest is a fun and exciting annual event that is not only great to attend but makes me feel wonderful because I know that ALL the proceeds go to help the children in our greater community attain their goals to become productive, independent and responsible members of the community as well. Most of the children served would not otherwise have the opportunity to attain their goals.
