This is a wonderful place to volunteer. I’m not able to commit to a consistent time each week, but BPNN allows flexibility in scheduling. The volunteers whom I’ve encountered during my shifts have been friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere provides a clean, dignified shopping experience for folks who are food insecure and need additional resources. I highly recommend joining the BPNN community.
Great organization! There are NO paid positions, so all donations go to helping those less fortunate in our community, what could be better than that! BPNN makes it very easy to volunteer no matter how much time you have available, and everyone is so friendly and inviting! A great organization which is very deserving of your attention!
I love volunteering with this organization which feeds hungry families in our community. I have helped cook the community meal for a number of years and recently began helping with food drives. A great deal of good work done entirely with volunteers!
I started working with Badger Prairie Needs Network when it was the Verona Area Needs Network, many years ago. This place is amazing. 100% volunteer, more than 1,100 active volunteers serving more than 30,000 of their neighbors, providing food, workforce development, legal services, social workers. More than half of our guests are people of color, 35% with roots in Spanish speaking countries. 65% have jobs, and many have two jobs. BPNN is a beacon for the community, real source of hope on many levels. Best of all, it is a place filled with joy. People volunteering to help people, genuinely caring, and demonstrating kindness always. BPNN is truly special!
