Mission: The corporation is a non-profit corporation and continuation of a prior association of same name, both of which were organized to encourage the successful use of the data communication protocol,"bacnet", in building automation and control systems through interoperability testing, educational programs and promotional activities. The corporation is to complement the work of other bacnet-related groups whose charters limit their commercial activities.
Programs: Testing facility controllers to comply with bacnet protocol and standards. Education of bacnet standards through trade shows, conferences, and publications.
