I had a very bad experience working and serving with them! I was a donor for many years and staff. I sacrificed so much for them personally, my time and life while serving. They will advertise that they care about their staff and that they have staff care but really the Co-Executive Directors are the ones taken care of. My experience with them has broken my heart not because I saw poor and orphaned children but because I experienced the reality of the management’s characters. They care more about their business than the people who serve for them, period.

I have NO desire now to serve or donate to organizations because of my experience with them. It has really affected me. They talk all about trauma competent care and serving with them has inflicted a huge amount of trauma on me!

Don’t connect with this organization.

I think 100.00 a month is a lot for 1 child in an underprivileged country. And each child is supposed to have 2 sponsors and then they still ask for donations for the building that houses the orphans.

Our family group loved our experience with Back 2 Back. There was a great balance of work projects as well as interaction with the children at the children's home. The debriefing time is a wonderful opportunity to process thoughts and emotions of the day. We loved the intentional discussion as family. The staff are all such high quality people and we loved getting to hear more of their stories and the behind the scenes stories going on in children's lives and other people's lives impacted by the ministry! Thank you for such wonderful opportunities.

We have been privileged to serve with Back2Back in Monterey about 5 times. We have gone on family trips with our 5 children. Each trip has been such a growing experience for each of us as we serve the orphans and the Rio communities. We were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the staff as well as the structure and efficiency of managing a variety of groups working and traveling to different children's homes or rio communities to serve. It has been awesome to see the impact of the care and love given to the children and various communities empowering and changing lives.

I went with a group to Monterrey, Mexico and served with the Back2Back staff at several of the children's homes. Each and every staff member was filled with a love for God and orphans. They truly are examples of "Preach the gospel always. Use words if necessary." They needed no words. My 13 year old daughter was with me and she can't wait to become an intern when she is older. Whether we were cleaning, painting, or playing with the kids...the staff were models of we are the hands and feet of Christ. Can't wait to go back!!!!

Back2Back is a tremendous resource to orphans and the poor in Mexico. They do a fantastic job of making short-term missions trips to Mexico a reality for our church. We enjoy a great partnership with them and take at least two trips per year. As a missions pastor, I heartily endorse Back2Back as a great agency doing first-class work. They are organized, detailed and they always keep the main thing the main thing, which is this case is creating mission experiences that benefit both the orphans and the poor of Mexico, as well as the short-term mission team members too. Take a trip with Back2Back - you'll never be the same!

My name is Rita Haworth and my family and I have been serving with Back2Back Ministries since 2006. Over the years we have been blessed to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus. Were involved in many projects such as painting, building houses, medical centers, a school, outdoor fireplaces, building picnic tables, cleaning the childrens rooms, and most of all building relationships with the children of Monterrey Mexico. We have been blessed in so many ways through this minisitry, we are closer to God, we share the gospel more and have seen Gods promise of being a father to the fatherless.

As an Intern in India with Back2Back, I had the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ. Back2Back builds partnerships with national orphan care organizations who share their vision: Care for today- Hope for tomorrow, to empower individual orphans and their communities. Whether our days were spent painting fingernails, playing duck-duck-goose or getting down and dirty cleaning a facility - orphans were shown the love of Christ.

What a great trip! I went with 5 of my girl friends. It was an awesome opportunity to help others as well and reflect on my own life. The staff did a great job to make us feel welcome, needed and to grow.

Loved having the opportunity to be a part of such a great organization.

We have gone 3 times to Monterrey mexico with B2B. We have found the impact this organization is making on the children and its volunteers is truly remarkable. After serving in El Rio a shanty town we found a connection of hope by supplying simple needs of food and encouragement to the residents. My children were also touched at the poverty they lived in realizing that we could make an impact on there lives has helped them not only appreciate the opportunities they have, but also taking advantages of the opportunities to give.

In 2008 I went to Back2 Back in Monterrey Mexico. It was a wonderful experience working with some of the orphans and with building projects. The staff was wonderful ! I hope someday to return. It was an eye opening experience for me. It actually helped me to realize that God was calling me into ministry. Thank you Back 2 Back.

After going on several mission trips to Back2Back Ministries in Monterrey, Mexico, I decided it was time to organize trips, so that others could have this same experience. No other mission organization offers the variety of experiences, the help with organization, and the personal spiritual growth opportunities that B2B provides. Many of the group members continue to support B2B and the orphans B2B serves by returning and giving financially to allow these chlldren to see how much God truly cares for them. In recent months I was able to experience a mission trip to B2B Nigeria, and came home knowing that the model for ministry that B2B uses is one that pleases God in all areas.

Back To Back is the best non profit I work with. I often explain their model to other groups I work with because it is run so professionaly.
And the people that work for them have passion for their cause's like no other organization.
My son volunteered for a month last summer and came back a better young man. He had a great experience.

I've been a youth pastor for over 17 years now and led over 20 mission trips. I took a group of youth to India with Back 2 Back summer 2010 and fell in love with this ministry. They are professional, organized, safe and most of all Spirit driven. I trust them 100% and our youth group sponsors two staff now as our ongoing support of Back2Back. We hope to work with them again in the near future! If you are looking for a place for your young people to experience a new culture and make a difference while having their owns lives transformed- this is it! The children are amazing.

Along with my wife and our daughter, I took my first short-term mission trip with this ministry in 2007 in order to serve orphans in Monterrey, MX. The depth and meaningfulness of the entire week was beyond anything I'd imagined. We've gone every year since, have been regular donors to the ministry's education program for orphans in Mexico, and advocate for the ministry wherever and however we can. Back2Back is less about relief and more about "release." Release from the sentence that orphans in poverty face with little opportunity to break free of the cycle of orphan creation, by investing into more than just food/clothing for the children. Over the years, I've come to know many of the staff personally and each one is 100% genuine in their love of children and commitment to the ministry's mission and vision. I've also learned that the ministry is an extremely efficienct non-profit, with only 14% of donations going to cover non-program related expenses. I encourage anyone who wants to make a difference in the life of an abandoned child, to roll up their sleeves and get involved with Back2Back.

I do alot of business in Mexico and love the people. I did some research on some ministries in Monterrey specfically. I found Back2Back and visited shortly after. What an incredible story this ministry has. Wonderful people who through their love for Christ are making an incredible difference in the lives on so many children. A short flight from Houston, you can go down and volunteer or just make a short visit to see how your donations are helping. Trust me, one visit and you'll be looking to see how you or your company can help this organization.

This is an awesome organization. The leaders and workers are incredibly selfless. They pour their lives into serving the poor and abondoned in several locations, providing care for today and hope for the future. I have visited their site in Monterrey, Mexico four times and plan to take my family to the Nigeria location this summer. They also provide a terrific environment for their guests to grow in their own relationship with Jesus. The trips our family have made have set us all on a new path of service for God and the people for whom he weeps. My teenage daughters have been changed for life.

I have the distinct priviledge of watching and being part of the B2B Mexico mission since the beginning 13 years ago. While my opinion is strongly biased because of my personal relationship with Todd & Beth (I'm Todd's dad) I often brag about what they are doing and the wonderful way they do it. I have lost count of the number of times I have visited B2B in Monterrey. What impresses me most is the fantastic staff doing this ministry.

I have had the priveledge of leading multiple groups to serve with the B2B team in Monterrey. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, orginization, and focus of the entire team. B2B at it's core "bleeds the cause of the orphan". As guest we have always felt informed, cared for and safe. My life, the lives of my family and many volunteers have forever had their lives changed for the better because of our shared experiences with Back 2 Back.

I work for an organization that leads mission trips. I have served with Back2Back Mexico multiple times. They are a very strong organization with leaders who look after each group as if it were their own family! I have never felt safer, nor worked with a company who was more prepared to meet the needs of each group.
I recommend them to everyone! Since going through work I have even involved my church on yearly trips now as well!

I went on my first trip with B2B in 2006. I was in high school at the time, just a student wanting to get involved, and do something good. What I wasnt prepared for was the experience that God had for me in Monterrey. He completely transformed my Heart and changed my life through not just a personal ministry, but in reaching out to others and sharing his Gospel! Back2Back is a ministry that goes deep rather than wide as Todd Guckenberger, Exec Dir. always says. They believe in digging deep into the heart of the orphan, and sharing the love of God with them, not through the name of their ministry, but literially through the word of God! Ever since my first trip, I have been an intern during each summer with B2B. I have loved working alongside the B2B staff in serving Christ, and the orphan child. This summer I will be going on summer staff and diving deeper into this great ministry! God has done so many great things through B2B and I know that he has a huge plan for what is to come!!

I have known about Back 2 Back for a while, as my family has been involved in various ways throughout the years. Last spring I got the opportunity to visit their homes in Monterrey and I was blown away by the dedication of the organization, the professionalism and the total, honest and self-sacrificing love they have for the kids there. It is an organization rooted in the message and call of Jesus and they get to the heart of the matter-- serving kids and making their lives better.

I have had the pleasure of serving with Back2Back on 5 short-term mission trips over the past 6 years. This ministry is absolutely dedicated to serving the orphan and partnering with the locals to accomplish that goal. They have proven to me that they are dedicated stewards of the funds they have been able to obtain. I heartily endorse Back2Back and encourage anyone to feel that their donation dollars are being used wisely and to eternal benefits. As I heard it put on one of my trips, "Sometimes sharing God's love with an orphan is simply painting their nails."

I have had the opportunity to serve on several mission trips with Back2Back Ministries over the last 12 years and it has been an incredible experience. I have participated on group trips, family trips, and I have a trip with several co-workers scheduled this spring. The staff is wonderful and the work they do to give orphans an opportunity for education and a career is ground-breaking. Not only does Back2Back provide for the basic immediate needs of the orphans through food, clothing and shelter, but they also give the kids an opportunity to earn an education and build a career. This system helps to break the negative cycle, give hope, and build up a new generation of former-orphans who can give back and be a positive example.

Back2Back has an amazing campus in Monterrey, Mexico with several acres, dormitories, clean drinking water, and even fun things like a soccer field and swimming pool! Their campus is a refreshing place to rest and recharge each evening after working and serving alongside the Back2Back staff each day.

If you are looking for a non-profit that is focused on effectively caring for orphans in less-fortunate areas of the world and providing an opportunity for them to break the cycle and get an education, I strongly recommend Back2Back Ministries!

Back2Back was a life changing experience. Spiritually, it helped our entire family grow closer to one another, God, and those in need. The organization of the trip itself was run flawlessly from start to finish. Their was not a portion of the trip that was accounted for from the pick up and drop off at the airport, to our daily stewardship. From morning to night we came together and used our energies to grow closer to Jesus and come to the aid of others. My favorite part was watching my children (9 and 11 yrs) grow from fearful when seeing the children in need, to embracing them and showing them the gift of love. We hope to return and continue our spiritual journey as well as embrace the gift of what Back2Back has given to so many.

GOD asked that we show our compassion to children. No one does it better than B2B! Amny of us in the USA are priveledged in our economic situation to shower our children with many gifts. B2B has set up in regions around the world that are far less fortunate and it is often the children that suffer the most. B2B takes action and bring love, support and a foundation of Christ to raise these children to go on and lead a similar life giving back to those in need. The true cycle of a Chritian life. I have had the good fortune of joining my daughter on trips with the B2B organization and it has been one of the most rewarding times of my life. More importantly, it has shaped my daughter's passion for children and those in need. This is something she plans to be a part of her life. What a gift to give to our children. Volunteer, donate, reach out - B2B will show you how and you will never be the same

B2B is a terrific organization!

I say that after my family has been involved on multiple levels for the past decade; we have supported individuals, families, and specific projects. We have been involved in funding, organizing, and casting vision for ongoing operations. We have participated in 2 on-site trips, and my children's lives have been changed so much that they are anticipating long-term commitments during HS and college years.

B2B goes "deep, not wide"; they live as they teach, caring for the "fatherless and widows" and bringing hope through dignity and self respect, breaking the bondage of generational poverty.

The best way to experience this is to get in there and just go- get dirty and tired. It will change your life...

After several years of interacting with Back2Back's staff and volunteers, I can safely say that they are one of the most professionally and well run non-profits in existence. They are driven, focused and Spirit-led. They know their vision and they have put together a system that both accomplishes their vision and causes those within their programs to excel.

My family and I have interacted with Back2Back Ministries for over 5 years and have been impressed with their professionalism, their organizational skills, and most importantly their love for the orphans that they seek to uplift. My first trip to their Monterrey Mexico location was in spring of 2006 and it was an amazing experience. I thought that I was going there to help the children when in reality their love and kindness positively changed my life. Since then I have taken my family (husband and two daughters) on two more missions to this location. B2B does an excellent job of balancing prayer and reflection with work and building as well as with interaction and caring for the children. My two daughters were 3 and 5 the first time they went and it was an amazing experience to see them love and interact with the children in the homes as well as to see them help with special projects such as painting one of the dormitories. Back2Back is an exceptional organization that is deserves support prayerfully, in personal mission trips, financially or in all of those manners. As an organization they truly have a heart for the lost!

Back2Back is very organized. I had never been on a mission trip before & was quite nervous, but once I was down there & with the amazing group of people, my whole outlook changed. It was a breath of fresh air to be surrounded by so many open hearts. Even the kids ran into our arms like we had been family for years. I was only down in Monterrey, Mexico for a week, but I have thought about those kids every day since. Once you go, your heart never quite comes back to home. I am being tugged to travel back to those beautiful mountains and hungry-for-love children & am looking forward to another experience this summer, hoping to make a difference in even just one child's heart.
