Mission: At chandler christian community center, we change lives by nourishing minds and bodies to create a connected, thriving community through the chandler food bank, family resource center, community action program (cap), and senior nutrition program.
Programs: Food bank provides emergency and supplemental food boxes to those in need. Food boxes are tailored to family size and special dietary needs (e. G. Children, homeless and diabetics).
senior centers provides hours of camaraderie, intellectual stimulation and nutritious meals to the frail, elderly and disabled in the chandler and gilbert communities. In addition to serving a hot meal, both centers offers an array of activities, outings, workshops, classes, medical programs, transportation, referrals, and volunteer opportunities. The organization also delivers meals and completes wellness checks to the elderly and disabled. The organization operates the local senior center for the town of gilbert and the senior meals program in the city of chandler.
community action program provides emergency financial assistance to families including utility assistance, eviction prevention and referrals for shelter/housing, food and clothing. Also providing case management including goal planning through life action maps, job training, employment and education referrals, financial education, referrals to other services and programs, as well as follow-up and ongoing support. Also includes interfaith homeless emergency lodging program (i-help) which provides emergency shelter and nutritious meals for homeless adults, male and female, through partnership with houses of worship and others; connecting guests to additional case management and services in working to meet needs and move from homelessness to stability.
unfortunately the woman staff there like to hook up with married men and seduced them into leaving there families . well what ever it was she was doing had him calling her name every time he opened his mouth . i believe she says she is a new employee she has tattoos all over and she will be moving to work for a prison or use too she is not just helping the men there she really helping them if they do what he did just because i asked a question . if there was nothing going on why did my husband abandon his child and i if there wasn't nothing going on he even told our son "what is this lady going to do now she has kids and a husband" well i guess he dose care more about other people instead of his own. ALL while his family hasn't seen him in 3 years and is mentally falling apart because of his action .however ascend is a heaven sent unlike the I HELP CASE MANAGER MRS RACHEAL

This organization... Will help .... Eventually.... When the office staff feels like it 3 months later currently going to be evicted and the lady at Gilbert office that takes care of the ERA told me that iM not the only one and she will get to it when she can. I was approved for the ERA last year! If you call .... There's no point don't keep calling it seems to get worse.. .if you send and email.. really don't waste your time. Is there anywhere I can report the mis treatment of this company! Last year the only lady they say available to take care of the ERA made my landlord and I wait 10 days while she went on vacation? Am I missing something?
