I recently had the privilege of volunteering with Ayiti Community Trust as a Co-Chair of a fundraiser event, and it was a truly enriching experience. The organization’s commitment to sustainable development in Ayiti is inspiring. The team is passionate and dedicated, making it easy to get involved and make a meaningful impact. Volunteering here not only allowed me to contribute to a worthy initiative but also to learn more about ACT’s impact and meet other Haitian-American professionals who are just as committed as I am to making a difference. I highly recommend ACT for anyone looking to make a transformational difference through a trusting, supportive, and accountable organization.
I am thrilled to share my admiration for Ayiti Community Trust (ACT), a remarkable nonprofit organization that is making a profound impact in Haiti through its innovative approach to sustainable development. ACT stands out as a transnational community foundation dedicated to empowering Haitian communities by supporting locally-led initiatives that foster social and economic growth.
What truly sets ACT apart is its commitment to an asset-framing model, which not only recognizes the strengths within Haitian communities but actively invests in their potential. By mobilizing Haitians and their allies, ACT creates a vibrant network of support that encourages creativity and innovation. Their programs are designed with the community's needs at the forefront, ensuring that solutions are both relevant and sustainable.
In a world where many nonprofits often fall short in their mission, Ayiti Community Trust shines as a beacon of hope and possibility. Their dedication to fostering a brighter future for Haiti deserves recognition and support. I encourage everyone to learn more about ACT and consider contributing to their vital work. Together, we can help amplify their efforts and ensure that the incredible potential of Ayiti is fully realized.
Great organization focused on the sustainability of Ayiti. I participate in ACT events and see the impact it has on local / rural communities of Ayiti. The endowment ACT is build will help generations to come.
I became aware of this organization and its mission about two years ago. It is the first of its kind to my knowledge doing what it does for the Haitian community in Haiti and the USA. They truly are mobilizing to creat a sustainable way to invest and develop Haiti. I have volunteered for them in several ways, including board membership.
