Avenida de Colores is responsible for the inception and production of the annual Sarasota Chalk Festival. It is run by Denise Kowal, Jody Jorgenson and a team of co-chair/captains. Each event is a huge undertaking with each year being bigger than the last. It has grown immensely in the last 3 years. Like any non-profit corporation, it is only as good as its volunteers and support base. The 2013 team was invaluable. A very large group of support that was able to lead, delegate, brainstorm and go over and beyond expectations to ensure this years success.
