In ending my deployment with the Army, I had to learn how to apply to positions as a civilian since the Army always placed me into Physical Therapist positions around the world. I reached out to Auxilium Manus DEO to obtain the next steps in being successful in obtaining sustainable employment within my field. The organization developed my professional resume which my colleagues expressed it is AWESOME, also, they taught me how important it is to have an online presence on LinkedIn to network. The company respects veterans and their service which I highly recommend both military and civilians to have this organization create your resume, guidance of job searching/planning, networking and interviewing.

I was simply getting by with a fast food job but I had my bachelor’s degree. I was blessed with the opportunity to have Kathy look at my resume, advise me on ways to make my resume more appealing to potential employers as well as interview prep and techniques.

I am the VP and Event Scheduler for this not for profit organization which has assisted many individuals who are seeking professional career development advice and coaching. We help those who are motivated for sustainable employment with techniques that no other career development has. Our experts build upon the Career Warrior’s talents in sustaining a career within the community while restoring one’s dignity, engaging empowerment, and to increase their opportunities with spiritual and employability needs.

I have created the Christian-faith based career development where our six workshops will not only be able to deliver professional career development for sustainable employment, but also spiritual needs. The workshops will have assessments which enable a Career Warrior to pinpoint his or her job search strategy and plan, develop their communication skills, and know exactly which position to apply for and what type of companies to be employed at. We are a 501 (C)(3) where you genuinely care of ones career development. One will be referred by one of our partnering agencies and or organizations to attend the workshops. For example, Employment Agencies, Providence Church in Ormond Beach, Bethune Cookman-University Career Center, and/or Good Will's Job Connection Center of Daytona/Deland. Our community deserves to have individuals prepared for their career choice which will restore their dignity, engage them with empowerment, and enhance their opportunities within the community.

I am glad to be a part of this not for profit since it will be able to reach many individuals who are motivated for professional career development, and be offered spiritual needs. I am the Treasurer and Career Clothing Closet Manager which will be in full operation once we achieve our goal in securing a building. Our Career Closet will carry various items for the Career Warrior to go to an interview or go to their place of employment. I have been a part of overseeing the clothing donations that will be in the "boutique style" career closet. Everything that AMD has to offer is professional and done with passion and compassion for those fighting for a career and not a job. The program restores dignity, engages empowerment, and enhances opportunities.
