it is the intention of the association to make a donation to the adagp charitable foundation (dba auto dealers caring for kids foundation) each year. This foundation serves child-related charities in the communities where its dealer members are located and it is the main beneficiary of the association's philanthropy. As the end of each fiscal year approaches, the association reviews its financial results as well as its projected financial need for the next year. With this information, the association calculates its donation to the adagp charitable foundation before the fiscal year-end.
the association promotes the retail auto industry in the greater philadelphia area and serves approximately 185 dealer members and 85 associate members. The association's building is a centrally located meeting facility that may be used by dealer members and auto manufacturers at a discounted rate. The association offers the following publications to its members: auto outlook (monthly and quarterly newsletters with data for new and used car sales),the driving force quarterly magazine and you auto know, a bimonthly newsletter. It also offers quarterly meetings for accounting and fixed operations personnel from dealerships to gather information and discuss issues affecting their dealerships.
