Causes: Autism, Disabilities, Health
Mission: Provide educational & recreational resources to childrren with autism spectrum disorders.
Programs: (annual football day camp) a day camp for any child statewide with asd (autism spectrum disorders). Last year 100 children and families participated. A local high school football team helps with this event. After the camp a family style picnic and awards is held.
(educational workshops and presentations, and a teen and support group) once a month a speaker discusses topics about autism with educators and parents. Annually a highly respected professional is hired and an auditorium rented for 250-300 people.
(monkey joes & building for kids) one saturday a month a gymnastics facility or recreational facility is rented, which has inflated slides, trampolines, etc. Children and families attend.
