Causes: Autism, Disabilities, Health
Mission: Socialization and arts programs for clients with autism, and autism education and outreach for professionals (teachers) and the community.
Programs: Our program served approximately 50 children and adults with its play, film, drama and social groups during 2012. 60% of our clients were on the autism spectrum tthe other 40% were "neurotypical" peers who work with our clients.
two autism certification training workshops serving 110 practicing special education teachers in san francisco unified school district. Teachers received training equivalent to traditional college level class for specialization in autism.
parent training and support groups for parents of children on the spectrum. Open to all parents in addition to those with children in our programs. Approx. 15 parents served.
