I joined ACT in December 2022 and I cannot wait to go back. It is fun to act on stage, be myself and not just sit back and watch others. I also like watching other peopel say their lines and act out their parts. Being on stage is also entertaining. Miss Gina is entertaining, fun, and nice. I liked when Mr. RJ helped me with my steps and my lines. Ms. Karen was helpful too because she helped me write my song. I liked wearing my costume during our last performance. I aslo loved celebrating Autism awareness day when we all went out to eat at 5 Napkin Burger.
We are so grateful to have this accepting and fun community! We look forward to getting together each Saturday!

The Autism Community Theatre program is awesome. This program has helped my son David use his imagination and be creative. Most of all, David has found his voice. David is a soft spoken young man and now he's able to speak up when he is performing. He really enjoys participating in this program and I am a proud momma.

Autism Community Theatre provides a creative, trusting space for our ensemble of performers to express themselves through singing, dancing and acting. ACT is an amazing program! They were there for my son and daughter during covid with their on line weekly zoom classes as well as before and afterward in person, helping them really feel a part of the group and able to contribute no matter what their capabilities were during any given day. My nephew goes to these hourly classes on Saturdays. I have the pleasure of taking him & waiting until the class is done. He is always, ready and excited to go. The performance they put on at the end of the season is cute. You get to see all the hard work they have been striving for, on those Saturday mornings. Gina the teacher is amazing with all the kids, they all love her. As do the moms (and auntie)
My nephew is a participating actor who clearly enjoys his time in class and loves being on stage for performance. Gina and her team do an amazing job engaging and enriching these teens lives, helping them to appreciate the value of social bonds. I only wish more kids on the spectrum had this opportunity.
