Mission: Austin samaritans seeks to show god's love to people in need in nicaragua by serving and assisting churches and non-profit organizations in nicaragua with their programs in the areas of health, education, and rescue. By coordinating efforts and pooling resources for maximum impact, we connect resources and talent to needs.
Programs: The korean united methodist church provided pre-kindergarten through 11th grade classes for a total of 300 students in 2017. The students come from barrio hialeah, a neighborhood of families with very low incomes. The school offers a better education than that provided by the nicaraguan public schools and does so in a christian setting.
manna project is an organization that supports a medical clinic in a low income neighborhood just outside the managua, nicaragua city dump. The other program is club esperanza. Club esperanza serves children in barrio villa guadulupe providing pre-kingergarten and kindergarten classes as well as tutoring for elementary school students.
