Looks are deceiving you and dont judge a book by its cover! This place is excellent! its sad that many Austinites say they are givers and want to pass judgment on The A.R.M. All I see and hear online is everyone complaining about its clients being out at street corners asking for donations. Even when you promote negativity all these brothers and sisters STILL find ways to raise funds and stay in the word. A lot of people have not heard testimonials or seen living proof with their own eyes on how positive and resilient this ministry is. If you only knew what these clients have been through before they got here or what led them to the ministry you would be grateful they are not trying to rob you or do harm to you or your loved ones over their own selfishness now that's progress. I look forward to their future commercial and advertising campaigns to help change your minds and give respect to the change and restorative efforts to their families and friends. Over the years nothing bad has happened to any of the clients that are out fund raising. I'm sure if they met you they would have something negative to say about you as well, we are all human.

I think it's a great ministries. I give every time I see them andbI am going to go help in the food bank. The economy is terrible. Some of them are panhandlers but the ones that collect for ARM give housing, food, clothes and education to help them get on their one. God Bless Austin Restoration Ministries.

hi I am a women who completed the arm program. When i got my first flyer i was a prostitute on the streets of Austin Texas. I had went to all the shelters in Austin seeking help but couldn't find any. Nobody would help me. I called the number on the flyer and a women from Arm was there to pick me up with in 20 minuets. Yes i did fund raise on the street corners for the ministry for 2 years. But i learned a lot about myself and other people in the process! If ARM had not been around i would probably be dead right now. . ARM dose not receive any government funding and we are in the process of applications for grants. When we get them we wont need to be fundraising on the street corners. Right now ARM has 7 operational House for drug addicts. We also have 4 women with 7 children that live in the houses. All of the kids go to school and are well provided for. Any one(except those convicted of a sex offense) can come straight of the streets and live in these house. The funds from the Street corners provide Food, Clothing, and housing For 70 people you would other wise be on the streets stealing robbing prostituting and hurting people to get drugs. These people are clean and sober now. We are opening transitional housing and beginning GED classes. We have a steam cleaning business and a lawn care service. There are 613 chronic substance abusers who are unsheltered in Austin. There is a need and ARM is doing the best that they can to help. Programs like these are not free. It takes finance to run then. If you reading this and you think ARM is a such bad people realize this. That same person asking for donations of the street corner not so long ago would have done anything to get a fix! anything! Ive seen god change the hearts of a lot of people through the ARM program. If Fundraising is the only bad thing people can say about ARM then ARM is changing that.
