Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Community Service Clubs
Mission: Austin Allies' mission is to organize meaningful volunteer opportunities for families in the Greater Austin area by partnering with local nonprofits and those that they serve. We are the bridge and the supportive infrastructure between the needs of our local nonprofit partners and families looking to serve the community together. We seek out needs within our nonprofit partners and organize and guide our volunteers to help fulfill those needs.
Results: In 2021, we gave back 3,882 volunteer hours to our community. We have 658 families who volunteer with us on a regular basis, helping us to serve our 96 (and counting!) nonprofit partners and their clients in a variety of ways.
Target demographics: Austin Allies provides nonprofits with volunteers that many of them desperately need while giving families simple and meaningful ways to give back to their community.
Direct beneficiaries per year: in 2021, we directly helped 45 nonprofits by providing 3,882 volunteer hours from 422 families in the Austin area!!
Geographic areas served: Austin, TX, primarily serving nonprofits in Travis, Williamson, and Hays Counties
Programs: We offer in person and at home volunteer activities to fit the schedules of busy families, a Kids' Book Club, monthly donation drives and more!
