Programs: Patient care improvement initiatives:the foundation continued initiatives which represent innovations in patient care, specifically, the vulvovaginal disorders resource center program, and the oncology fund. Through the vulvovaginal disorders resource center program, the foundation funded the completion of a comprehensive web-based database to teach clinicians about the symptoms, diagnosis of and treatment of vulvar vaginal diseases. The oncology fund utilized its funding to support music therapy and massage for patients undergoing treatment.
grants for health care related medical research and patient education to promote health and wellness.
employee emergency fund:the foundation provides financial assistance to employees of atrius health medical groups who are suddenly confronted with an unforeseen and serious crisis caused by circumstances such as a home fire, severe weather emergency (e. G. Hurricane), natural disaster (e. G. Flood), being a victim of crime, an accident victim, or due to a medical emergency. This program was discontinued in 2016.
