Mission: The Atlanta Radio Theatre Company was founded in 1984 to preserve and advance the craft of audio drama. We strive to go beyond "books on tape" and to build on the classic radio dramas popular in the 1930s and 1940s by performing in a non-visual medium while bringing modern technology and acting techniques to the craft. We also do not deal in re-creations of the classics, preferring instead to create original work or adaptations of work that is in the public domain.
