Programs: Atlanta pride experienced a successful year in 2017. Around 300,000 people attended more than 65 events in 2017 including the 47th annual atlanta pride festival and parade on october 14-15. The festival included the largest ever market and parade, a new third stage, a sold out vip center, a viewing of the aids memorial quilt, wellness programming, and two marches. During the year, atlanta pride hosted educational, social, and wellness programming along with several fundraisers. We diversified our community partners and grew fesitval sponsorship. We experienced some staff turnover and created a fourth staff position. Through atlanta pride's community reinvestment funds, we supported 53 organizations in 2017.
