The AMO (Atlanta Musicians' Orchestra) is comprised of a wide variety of playing abilities, from amateur to professional. It is filled with people who play for the love of playing together, for the love of playing music. And it is filled with people who care for, inspire and help each other. It is the friendliest, most welcoming group of this sort that I have ever encountered.
The Atlanta Musicians Orchestra provides an outlet for very talented musicians of all ages, walks of life and careers to share their talents with the public. One is lucky yo be at their concerts! The introductions and explanations to all pieces played is well thought out and the audience appreciates it. The group is totally professional and I am always glad I have attended a concert performance by the Atlanta Musicians orchestra. At the last concert there were audience members of all ages...and all enjoyed! Keep up the great work and spread more joy with your music and talents!
I just moved to Atlanta from California. I was looking for an orchestra to join since I've been playing for 12+ years and want to continue practicing my passion for music and performance. The Atlanta Musicians' Orchestra welcomed me with open arms at the first rehearsal and since then, I have been looking forward to the many more rehearsals and concerts with them.
The group sounds awesome, the people are very kind, and we play beautiful and challenging original pieces by very well-known composers. I highly recommend joining if you're a professional with musical talent because even as a management consultant, the rehearsals are located at a very convenient time and place, so your participation should be manageable even with a busy schedule.
If you're a member of the community, please come check out our concert(s) in January. You'll love it. And for donors, well, you'll love it even more when you see how far your money goes to help enrich the community with the gift of music.
WOW! The Atlanta Musicians Orchestra provided our family and the community with an awesome concert at The William Breman Jewish Home. It was wonderful to see people of all ages enjoying the beautiful music. I enjoyed giving my young grandson the opportunity to see and hear orchestra music. What a great experience! What a great way to encourage his love of music!
The orchestra members were not only talented, they were kind and engaging. Their love for music and their desire to share their talent were evident.

It's a wonderful thing to see people making music together, especially when it is glorious classical music. These amateur and professional musicians come together to offer concerts with only a $10 donation requested. The group provides an opportunity for area musicians to get together to play classical music, and is very welcoming to musicians of all abilities.
I attended my first concert last weekend and was thoroughly impressed by the amount of talent amongst these fine musicians. Their love of music and performing was more than evident. Hope to attend more concerts in the future!
