Mission: Nature of organization - since 1981 the atlanta hospital hospitality house (ahhh) has provided a "home away from home" to outpatients and caregivers of patients hospitalized in an atlanta area hospital by offering lodging, meals, and supportive companionship. Ahhh accommodates anyone as long as they have been referred by the hospital chaplain's or social worker's office and live 40 miles outside of atlanta. Ahhh currently provides services to patients and family members at 28 area hospitals. Ahhh is a fully independent non-profit organization and is honored to play a part in providing for the temporary needs, health and welfare of its service recipients.
Programs: Provided overnight accomodations and support to out of town relative of hospital patients, provided meals, laundry, facilites and supplies with a staff person on duty at all times to assist the guests
