My husband and I have worked with the Astoria Rescue Mission for 8 years, before that my father was the Executive Director since 1990.
This mission is funded only by private donors. It is not often we obtain outside grant money, unless they are yearly contributors such as the local high school, and grocery store and even then these are usually for small projects. We have great hopes for this mission, and hope to see a solid GED and Work Program established
