Causes: Education, Elementary & Secondary Schools, Literacy
Mission: Advances the knowledge & abilities of school business professionals & provides a voice & forum for the profession.
Programs: Provided meetings, workshops & seminars to advance members skills & provide opportunities for networking & sharing of information. These meetings include a fall, winter & spring conference which attract over 300 attendees at each event; the masbo institute, which is a four day introduction to all areas of school business management; a leadership academy which provides focused training to school business officials in order to offer practical leadership education that will help school business officials succeed & excel in their employment & provide an environment where relationships can be established to aid in the educational process by drawing on the experiences of the diverse group of participants along with knowledgeable, quality instructors; as well as a certification program that is designed to train current & prospective school business officials, offers practical information to assist members in excelling in their profession.
