AOG keeps our local society completely in sync with happenings at the Academy. Moreover, they are providing tools to better serve the local alumni. West Point graduates are a very tight group and AOG is a big part of that.

As a member of a West Point Class I have the opportunity to work with various departments of the West Point Association of Graduates (AOG) almost on a daily basis. All perform well above the standard expected from such an organization. When this virus hit the US in Feb '20 the AOG didn't blink. They went into safe mode and figured out a way to continue their high level of support and out reach that they'd been doing without missing a beat. They used their in house IT folks to set up a work from home system so, we who rely on the AOG staff for making it easy to keep our Classes connected, didn't lose touch as everyone went into a self imposed quarantine mode. The AOG staff did as well but their work never stopped. They worked their regular work days as well as "overtime" as they made sure nothing was missed due to the circumstances we've had to work through over these past eight plus months. That demonstrates their dedication to their mission of making our AOG the most connected alumni organization in the world. Kudos to all and a big well done. Thank you for all the unwavering support you've provided me, and thus my Class, over the past 28 years I've been doing this for my Class.

This is a great nonprofit organization! They not only accurately receive and record our donations to West Point, but they coordinate and participate in our most important activities. Each year, they provide us with a continuous flow of important information, which helps our nonprofit maintain peak performance. As the volunteer President of the West Point Society of DELMARVA, I work closely with many members of this organization and find them to be impressive. They perform their actions with accuracy and urgency. They have never let us down and we confidently expect this high level of performance to be sustained forever.

WPAOG's volunteer team maintains linkage among all Long Gray Line West Point graduates, supports and leads over 140 graduate organizations and societies around the world and as a nonprofit organization itself raises funds for Academy "Margin of Excellence" programs - and has been doing these things for over 150 years. I lead one of those volunteer societies for graduates within the Tennessee Valley area of Northern Alabama and have enjoyed tremendous support from WPAOG over many years. Their dedicated efforts over the years have made West Point's graduates among the most tightly-linked graduate groups in the world. These linkages are generated by state-of-the- art informational technology activities provided by and maintained by WPAOG. My fellow Graduate society members and I are most thankful for and appreciative of the many activities, events and publications that WPAOG provides for our thousands of West Point graduates spread across the globe. It's not often that you get to mix enjoyable camaraderie with something of incredible importance to our nation. The Association of Graduates has provided both a means of keeping linked with fellow West Point graduates, but also a link to current cadets as well as candidates for the Academy ... the future leaders of the nation. Time is precious for all of us. Time spent with AOG-related activities has been personally rewarding and is undoubtedly an investment in our future.

Cathy Kilner, Amy Hagan, and the entire team at WPAOG do an exceptional job supporting West Point graduates and their families. Reunion Planning & Event Support, Fundraising, Graduate Services, Archiving Class History, and more.....AOG does it all! They are incredibly responsive to the needs of our Class and have far exceeded my expectations as a member of the Class Leadership. Big bites, AOG!

The AOG is instrumental in providing a way for alumni from USMA to keep in touch and build community in specific areas. I am way out in Oregon and do not have a military installation close by. Many of the graduates in our area do not have easy contact to West Point. The AOG creates useful tools and provides excellent resources that allow all the graduates in Oregon to connect. Thank you!

Amy Hagan and the whole AOG team are just incredible to work with. Such an amazing resource that each graduate from West Point has at their disposal. This is what a true alumni experience is expected to be. The bar is set with AOG.

I’ve worked with West Point’s AOG for over 20 years. They continue to innovate and evolve to meet the needs of those they serve. Their primary mission is people, and they excel at caring for and connecting people. As if that wasn’t enough, they do it all at an operating cost significantly lower than similar non-profits. Kudos, AOG!

I donate to West Point through the AOG with a monthly credit card charge. Last month, apparently there was a contest among service academies about donations within a specific time period. Someone from the AOG called me and asked if I'd like the date of my donation to be altered that month so it would get credit on the contest. I appreciate this, because I'm sure I would have felt (internal, self-imposed) pressure to give to support USMA in the contest. So, I would have been donating twice last month. But AOG took initiative that allowed to me to get credit for a "two-fer" without having to double my donation. Of course, I know that AOG benefitted in the contest by doing this (they got credit for my donation), but I found this indicative of how AOG does business. Always professional, respectful, and thankful.

The West Point Association of Graduates is an exceptionally well run organization composed of a staff of highly dedicated and motivated personnel. The WPAOG is the gold standard of alumni associations and it has set the bar very high for all other colleges and universities. There has never been a time when assistance has been requested when it has not been given. Communications are excellent and information provided is done so with a cheerful demeanor and with much patience even when the question being asked merely repeats something that has already been asked and answered. It is a pleasure and privilege to work with a group of people possessing a high caliber of integrity and they are true professionals in every aspect of alumni services and support. They are the BEST!!!!

I have organized two class reunions for my class and am currently organizing a virtual one. The support from WPAOG gets better and more robust with each reunion. I am proud of our alumni association and all of the services that they provide. Their mission is to be the most highly connected alumni body in the world and I believe that they are!

AOG is doing a great job keeping graduates worldwide abreast of activities, needs and programs to assist graduates and families at the local level. Wanting to be the most engaged Alumni Association of any institute of higher learning, they continue to upgrade their communications, resources, activities and training

There's no time like a Crisis to see an organization at it's best (or worst). The West Point AOG has done an incredible job over the years supporting graduates as well as cadets, but over the past few months, WPAOG has really stepped up and made a difference.

I've seen other non-profits grind to a halt, freeze, or just not do anything since COVID struck our nation. Not so with WPAOG. The entire staff and leadership immediately focused on how best to continue services in the new normal and where they might help with new demands. The "Gripping Hands" initiative to reach out to older alumni is a great example. The WPAOG sent messages through several different media early in the crisis and offered to help graduates in need. In my own city, we had a couple that was hit extremely hard by COVID due to an on-going illness that further isolated the couple from social and medical services. Thankfully, the staff contacted our local graduate society and put us in touch with the couple. In turn, we mobilized volunteers within our area to visit the couple, link them up with social services, and help with some critical services.

WPAOG is World Class!

WPAOG is an incredible organization. By serving West Point and it’s graduates, it is an integral part of the national security of our nation. After leaving active duty, WPAOG provides its members an opportunity to still serve their country in a new manner.

WPAOG is an excellent steward of the donations from the public. The donations allow the cadets to experience the "margin of excellence" in numerous ways, including study abroad experiences, traveling, and upgrades of the buildings, all the things that don't get funded by the government. Donating to WPAOG is a donation to the future leaders of our nation. The funds also allow the Superintendent to use these monies in a way he feels will benefit the corps of cadets. Check WPAOG out on Guidestar and Charity Navigator - it is a top-rated charity because the money goes directly to help the Corps of Cadets.

As a parent, I'd be lost without Wpaog. They kept us informed and up to date on major things that our cadets are doing. Graduation filming and live streaming was first rate and very accessible and it was all free! Very worthwhile organization!

This organization keeps graduates, and families, up to date with a variety of cadet, faculty and graduate events. Much information, and many opportunities. would be unknown to us, except for their insightful publications and notifications. West Point enthusiasts who are non-grads, continue to feel involved as part of the West Point family.
